Study On Ability Of Coal Enterprises' Diversification

Coal enterprise plays a crucial role in the development of our national economy. The demand for coal resources grows rapidly every year in our country. With the development of enterprise theories, the diversified operation of coal enterprise has been a common trend; currently most coal enterprises in our country have been carried out with different degrees of diversified operation. The purpose of the coal enterprise to implement diversified operation is to maximize its profits, distribute the resource more reasonable, reduce the operating risk from a single business, and diversify the risk by diversified management. The core of diversified operating strategy is whether the enterprise has diversified ability. As coal enterprise has been affected by planned economy for a long time, its diversified capacity can not necessarily guarantee the implementation of the strategy diversification. This paper mainly studies the diversified management ability of coal enterprise and provides theoretical reference for the coal enterprise to carry out the diversified strategy.This research is divided into the following sections:(1) Through analyzing the theory of enterprise's diversified operation, the concept of enterprise diversified operation has been defined; the relationship between enterprise diversified operation and enterprise's capacity has been analyzed; enterprise capacity theory and the inner link between enterprise diversification and growth have been analyzed.(2) Constructed the evaluation index system and evaluation model of coal enterprise's diversified operation capacity, and obtained the weight of coal enterprise's diversified ability by investigating in this paper.(3) Combined with the result of the coal enterprise diversified capacity weights, this paper constructs the diversified operation capacity system of coal enterprise. The author analyzed the three capacity factor of coal enterprise diversified operation—financial ability, technical competence and decision-making capacity; and finally made a "three core" conceptual model about the diversified operation capacity system of coal enterprise through a pointed sort research.(4) Taking the enterprise ability as a point of view, this paper analyzes the selection problem of industry and business model about the coal enterprise to conduct diversified operation in our country; and discusses the advantages and disadvantages through this process.(5) Choose two cross-sectional coal enterprises as case studies to be analyzed, and conducted the matching analysis of their capacity according to the description of the case studies.
