As a PhD. Student in Organization and Human Resource Management, there are many reasons for me to pay attention to the research of Managerial Communication in particular. Managerial Communication is the life line for an organization that can connect organizations effectively from inside to outside and it has very important influences on improving organization efficiency and insuring orderly running of the organizations. Nowadays there are more and more global competitions for Chinese whole society that many Chinese enterprises are entering into global operation, and at the same time, the economic tangles in many enterprises are rising too. All these are influencing on the management of enterprises. Enhancing Managerial Communication can help organizations to solve the above problems efficiently, that it can reduce internal resistance and increase coherence and competition abilities of organizations, and then help organizations to reach their targets more quickly.This thesis focus on the research of Managerial Communication of Organization that it defines the essential concepts and connotations of Managerial Communication completely and truly. It also goes deep into the analysis on types and elements of Managerial Communication and then demonstrates the importance and necessity of setting Managerial Communication of Organization as independent science knowledge. In order to follow the requirement of new era and make this thesis more practical, the author analyses the Managerial Communication of three important types of organization, which include virtual organization, cross-culture organization and informal organization. Then the author discusses theory bases, communication characters and contents, and other communication phenomenon of these three important organizations, trying to use the knowledge to instruct management practices of enterprises. All these efforts are aiming to make contributions on explores of theory research and practical operations of Managerial Communication of Organization for Chinese organizations. The research contributions of this thesis are mainly showing in the following four aspects.Firstly, through deep researches on important literatures of this field, this thesis well defines communication related concepts and afresh gives the historical evolvement and development of Managerial Communication Theory. In this thesis, the definition of managerial communication is that Managerial Communication of Organization is the behavior process in organization managing processes that social organizations and their managers purposefully communicate viewpoints, information and emotions through signals, mediums and approaches, in order to reach aims of the organizations.Secondly, through deep analysis on the importance functions of Managerial Communication of Organization in solving conflicts, improving leadership and eliminate information asymmetry, this thesis demonstrates the importance and necessity of the existence and development of Managerial Communication of Organization as independent science knowledge. Here the author originally brings forward the model of using managerial communication to solve organization conflicts and company politics, then to harmonize the inconsistencies of organization benefits and emotions, in order to realize harmonious management of organizations and improve efficiency and competition ability of the organizations and also gives the important improving function of managerial communication on the Two Elements Model of Leadership.Thirdly, this thesis analyses the mainly impediment factors of Managerial Communication of Organization, and gives concrete methods to realize effective Managerial Communication of Organization. It also goes deep into the analysis of actual cases of HP Company and Motorala Company to show the real cases of how to realize effective Managerial Communication of Organization.Fourthly, the author uses Managerial Communication of Organization principles into three important types of organization in knowledge economic era, which include virtual organization, cross-culture organization and informal organization and to find effective managerial communication method that can be suitable for their own characters. This thesis firstly studies on the topic of informal communication ininformal organizations, and extends the research field of Managerial Communication of Organization. It points out that organizations and managers should pay highly attention to the functions of informal communication and nonverbal communication in Managerial Communication of Organization, especially to the functions of informal communications in informal organizations. According to virtual organizations, the author points to establish trust mechanism in virtual organizations to perform better managerial communication. And to cross-culture communication, the author suggests to use communication methods and skills of both sides for references and conquer prejudice of cultures, then build new organization culture to harmonize different cultures.In this thesis, the author uses many different research ways and methods, such as literature research, case analysis, cross research analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis to research on managerial communication and the above viewpoints are mostly affirmed by the data from 110 questionnaires.As a new subject, the research work of Managerial Communication of Organization is just starting. This thesis combines Managerial Communication of Organization theories with practical activities of enterprises and it will have important influence on improving the levels of Chinese Managerial Communication of Organization.
