Development Of China Agricultural Textile Raw Materials On The Basis Of Industrial Chain

China has a variety and abundant capacity of Agricultural Textile Raw Materials (ATRM). These materials are used more often in the textile industry: cotton, flax (ramine, flax, jute), wool (sheep wool, goat wool, cashmere), and cocoon silk (mulberry cocoon ,tussah cocoon), etc. ATRM is not only a main economic product in agriculture, but also a source of natural fibre(NF) for textile industry, and it has a direct effect on the development of agricultural economy and textile & clothing industry of our country. At present, the pace of economy globalization is accelerating and quota for textile products is abolished; China is leaping towards a thoroughly construction of a well-off society and ATRM is being replaced in increasing areas by chemical fibre(CF). All these new variations of the circumstance have brought new opportunities and challenges to the development of our ATRM. On the basis of industrial constitution theory and industrial relation theory, this article studies the ATRM development in view of industrial chain, by applying the basic knowledge of econometrics and statistics, using foreign research results for reference, combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.Firstly this paper set a limit for the conception and scientific intension of industrial chain on the basis of correlative theory research, and expounds the chain's construction and various formation, which makes a framework for analysis of it. Based upon distinguishing and comparing between ATRM and textile fibre, it also gives a definition for ATRM chain and its construction, according to ATRM technological and economics process. Then it analyses three chains, such as NF chain, textile chain and CF chain, which are relative to each other.In order to have a thorough grasp of ATRM chain, this paper makes an overall research about ATRM chain from two angles. The first, it dissects each link of the chain, such as the production, initial process, circulation and trade of ATRM; textile process; the process, trade and consume of clothing. For each link, it analyses its action, actors, situation and problems. The second, it analyses each forms of the chain's flow, such as substance flow, information flow and value flow. In each flow, its meaning, feature, distribution in the chain and current situation are discussed.
