In the early 1980s, Chief Financial Officer was born in the corporations with institution separated ownership from operation-authority and with impeccable corporative-governing system in the matured marketing economics countries. It is only minority international companies in USA that set up the position of CFO at that time. With company operating environmental change and information technological improvement, at the turn of the 21st century CFOs have been widely affecting some fields including strategy planning, achievement managing, significant merger, company structure, team building and external communication. They are leading vital revolution. And also as the partnership of CEO they are engaged in business execution and take the ultimate effect in business development.Under present condition that knowledge economics is coming, information technology is wide spreading, economics has been globalizing, CFO's responsibility has been in the developing process and some companies'scandal broke, such as ENRNO Corp., people have doubted whether accountants could take the responsibility of new tasks in the new times. It should be necessary that indicates direction forward for CFO in the tight corner. On the other hand, evolving from conventional financial function to partnership of corporation, CFOs have already achieved strategic transition. They have been bearing the burden of commended responsibility by shareholders to succeed in financial reporting and production operating.In China, our corporations are facing these changeable tendency and austere challenge at present, which has been causing CFO's strategic transition to be a realistic and imminence research subject.At the present, the research of CFO in theoretic is focused on drawing the distinction between CFO and Chief Accountant or Financial...
