Research On Strategic Alliance And Evaluation Of Technological Capability In Our Firm

Think about the competence and fate of our firms on the background of global economy, we found that compared with those firms in developed countries, technological capability gap is the main reason why our firms can't compete with them except the difference of poverty system. Strategic alliance is the most important method for our firms to promote technological capability. Through technology learning in the strategic alliance, firms gradually obtain their imitating capability, further designing capability based on imitating and completing creating capability.The research goal of the thesis is that how our firms promote the technology capability through strategic alliance. Based on the corporation strategic alliance prospect and the technology capability development, we analyzed the promotion of our firms' technology capability by different levels of strategic alliance, and probe the promotion effect theory.Chapter 1 begins from the present condition of strategic alliance and technological capability in our firms, we explain the practical meaning of the article. Then we go over the present condition of the research on them, which show clearly the direction of the following research.In chapter 2, strategic alliance theory is discussed. Combined with the practice of our firms, we state the developing lines , the main characters and the future trends of strategic alliance. Technology learning and its character and basic model are emphasized in the statement.In chapter 3, by explaining the component, the evolution model and the promotion ways of technological capability, the main character of the evolution of technological capability in our firms is discussed. Then we analyzed the interrelationship of strategic alliance and technological capability. Finally, the performance and existing problems of strategic alliance is stated.In chapter 4, through the case of Changhong Group, we analyzed that how Changhong promote their technological capability by alliance learning abide by its alliance process. The experience of the process is discussed at last.The author deeply study the interrelationship of strategic alliance and technological capability, the conclusion may be benefit the theory and practice of firms to some extent.
