A Study On The Sino-Russian Economic And Trade Relations In A New Era

In the recent ten years, Sino-Russian economic and trade relations have received plenty of attention from scholars in the two countries, with considerable fruits. However, the previous research is limited. And with the changing political and economic situations of China and Russia, the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries is not static. The academe is required to analyze and expound all this. Therefore, this dissertation tries, on the basis of previous studies and multitudinous specific cases, to cast some insight into several aspects of Sino-Russian economic and trade relations, especially their elements, future vista, subjects in and forms of trade, cooperation in energy and defense. After that, some solutions and suggestions are provided.Apart from introduction and epilogue, this dissertation is divided into six chapters.Chapter One is focused on the basic conditions for and possible future of Sino-Russian economic and trade relations. Three fields are discussed here: background and evolution, mechanism of operation and environment for investment. The first part elaborates on the background and condition of the development of Sino-Russian economic and trade relations, from the aspects of trend of the bilateral relations, requirements for the circulation of productive factors and for the realization of strategy of development both at home and abroad, etc. Then this part describes and analyzes the history of the development of Sino-Russian economic and trade relations. The second part explains the mechanism that functions in the development of Sino-Russian economic and trade relations at three levels, that is, national level, local level and folk level.
