Research On The Sustainable Developmentnt Of China's Oil And Gas Resource

In the 80s of 20^th century, the concept of sustainable development was widely accepted around the world under the worsening conditions of over population, resources, environment and ecosystem. It has become a guiding thought and strategic aim for the social and economic development of every country and region. Sustainable development of resource is the most important part of it, however, many of the problems of resource sustainable development are still under exploration and the theories and practices are under construction. In recent years, with the fast increase of requirement of oil, the conflict between supply and need become even tense. With the dependence of foreign oil and the appreciation of oil price, the study of sustainable development of oil and gas resource is highly regarded by China government and experts. The problem of sustainable development of oil and gas resource has become the big problem of sustainable, steady, safe development of China society. Therefore, a thorough study of sustainable development of oil and gas resource of China has a deep meaning for the development of China society.This paper, which uses the theories of resource economics, geology of gas and oil, sustainable development, analyzes the features of non-reproducible resources, brings forward the basic connotations of sustainable development of oil and gas, deeply analyzes the main factors which affect the sustainable development of oil and gas resources, systematically studies the present status of China's sustainable development of oil and gas in three aspects of supply, using and safety; and deeply reveals the conflicts which face the sustainable development of China's oil and gas resources.In this paper, I thoroughly analyzed the present situation of global oil and gas resources and the supply and requirement situation in the future. Under the foundation of forecasting and analysis, I draw a conclusion that oil and gas resources and supply will totally meet the need of global requirement before the year 2020.
