Sharing network and service infrastructure between mobile network operators can reduce costs and spread service range. It has been core competitive strength of mobile network operators to provide scalable and adaptive mobile services. There are many problems to need to be solved for provision of value-added service in sharing networks. This dissertation mainly focuses on these problems and addresses two key issues: service roaming and Qos (Quality of Service). The main contributions of this dissertation are as follows:1. The dissertation discusses the scenes, the principles and key issues of mobile service provision in sharing networks.2. The dissertation gives a service-based arithmetic and channel allocation mechanism to solve problems of network level Qos in shaing networks. It can ensure that high priority voice and data services get higher access qualities. Emulate is also done to verify performance of the arithmetic using MatLab.3. Based on a VHE (Virtual Home Environment) extension structure, the dissertation gives a policy-based framework of VHE service Qos provision. It can provide Qos guarantee of cross-domain services. Based on this framework, a mechanism of cross-domain services roaming, collaboration and Qos has been provided.4. For mobile service platform under the environment of sharing networks, the dissertation analyses and provides cross-domain message flows based on Mobile Agent model, and gives the performance analysis in two scenes: call arrival and call origination.5. In mobile service networks, SIP signal and NAT devices are popular. The dissertation gives the solution of SIP signal transportation under NAT environment using C/S communication methods.6. As an example, the dissertation also gives the design and implementation of a typical media downloading platform.
