As a kind of energy, hydropower has the virtue of clean and efficient, but being easily influenced by natural condition determines that it can(?)supply steady electricity for power grid. So the cooperation of hydropower and firepower is on it (?). way. This paper is based on the sanxia project, which is being built, and will illustrate the choice of firepower base for sanxia hydropower and the cooperating tactic of running hydropower and firepower to lower the energy consuming. All the methods, being discussed, are based on the satisfaction of total power load.The main contribution of this dissertation is summarized as follows:(1)First, this paper will expound the requirement of hydropower and firepower cooperation. In succession, the imminency of building firepower base for sanxia hydropower will be explained. At last, the principle of choosing firepower base is discussed.(2) The introduction of both the sanxia hydropower and xiangfan firepower are made. And in succession, confirm the cooperating tactic based on their characteristic. The tactic can be described as follows: when water is abundant, hydropower answers for basic load , while firepower adjust peak shaving ; and when water is in short, the role of hydropower and firepower will be reverse .(3)On the basis of cooperating tactic, intelligent-optimized load distribution is suggested. After introducing the definition, its mathematic foundation is explained in detail to reach the distribution model on the basis of characteristics of coal consumption. This is the theory foundation of the firepower part in my dissertation.(4)The blue print and the logic structure of intelligent-optimized load distribution is confirmed, according to both mathematic theory and the function experience.(5) The characteristics of coal consumption of 4×300MW power plant is built based on the history data. Simulation is made to prove the Tightness of the view suggested in this dissertation. In the process of simulation, the secondary distribution is involved, so the way of secondary distribution is also discussed.
