Reverse logistics is becoming a hot research felid in the last decade with the increasing concern to environment. Some legislations and directives have been promulgated to regulate the recycling of EOL (end-of-life) product in the developed countries. The research and management activities of reverse logistics are at the primary stage in China. This dissertation studies the issues of reverse logistics management from the macro point and micro point.First, it brings forward the background of the question discussed, analyze the characteristic of reverse logistics and review the literatures on reverse logistics management at home and abroad.Secondly, it constitutes the EOL product reverse logistics network in the case of China with an example of EOL electronic product. The location and number of facilities in reverse logistics network are determined through the optimal solution of MILP model. The model's efficiency is demonstrated by the numerical studies.Thirdly, there are several choices of reverse channel in the reverse logistics. The dissertation analyzes the manufacturer's choice decision among three reverse channels (1) manufacturer collects EOL products through retailers and recycles the products; (2) pooled collects and recycles EOL products; (3) the third-party collects and recycles EOL products. It also analyzes the recycling center's choice decision among three collecting channels (1) recycling center collects EOL products directly; (2) retailer collects EOL products; (3) the third-party collects EOL products.Fourthly, it designs a reverse logistics revenue sharing model to discuss the revenue distribution among the partners in reverse logistics. In the revenue sharing model of reverse logistics chain made up of collectors and recycler, the collector and recycler will determine the distribution proportion of sharing revenue through Stackelberg game based on recycler's capacity constraint in a case of stochastic supply. Finally, it discusses the economic base of government intervention with reverse logistics management. Mandate regulation and economic means are instruments of government responsibility. The economics measures are feeing and fiscal policy. It determines the optimal investment subsidy rate and operating subsidy level to recycler...
