A Study On Influencing Factors Of Knowledge Transfer In M&A Of Iron And Steel Enterprises In China

Faced with competition from iron and steel multinational, Chinese iron and steel enterprises have strong desirability to become larger and stronger. Practice evidences show that knowledge transfer is an important factor in M&A of Chinese iron and steel enterprises.Knowledge transfer has been the main measure to strengthen competitive advantage of Chinese iron and steel enterprises. Current research papers about knowledge transfer are focus on communication,electron and biology industry. however, Papers studying knowledge transfer in iron and steel industry are limited.This dissertation focuses on how to improve the result of knowledge transfer in Chinese iron and steel enterprises and strengthen its competitive advantage. Firstly, The author review the studies and build a model of knowledge component in enterprises by theory dedution knowledge. In view of process, it integrate the characteristics of knowledge,M&A and characteristics of Chinese iron and steel enterprises to study the process component of knowledge transfer in M&A of Chinese iron and steel enterprises, whose are the main body of knowledge transfer,content of knowledge transfer ,methold of knowledge transfer, integration of knowledge context, cost of knowledge transfer and result of knowledge transfer. Beased on the above analysis, The author identify the Influencing factors of knowledge transfer in M&A of Chinese iron and steel enterprises, including the acquiring iron and steel enterprise preconditions of knowledge, the acquired iron and steel enterprise preconditions of knowledge, motivation of knowledge transfer, knowledge identify, knowledge transfer cost, implementation of knowledge transfer and integration of knowledge context in M&A of Chinese iron and steel enterprises. The author analyze correlation and Influencing on result of knowledge transfer, then put forward hypothesis and model.Secondly, This dissertation use the mind of emprirical analysis for test hypothesis. based on mostly 10 cases studies of horizontal M&A of iron and steel enterprises in the southwestern China. Because the variables involved in the studies of knowledge transfer mainly are from the knowledge enterprises. these variables maybe are not suitable for Chinese iron and steel enterprises ,This dissertation do best refer to the variables or angles in the studies according to influencing factors of knowledge transfer in M&A of Chinese iron and steel enterprises, then make use of investigation and talk to design the variables in dissertation by questionaires and analysis of reliability and validity. the variables of...
