It is of necessity to probe into the independent standard of disciplines for the argumentation of this issue. There are two principles of standards including discipline organizational system and discipline norms to evaluate whether a discipline is of independence. In the process of evaluation of discipline independence in the past, people often carried out the standard of matureness principle neglecting the stages of discipline development. Therefore it is needed to propose discipline development gradient standard to differentiate discipline development conditions. Leadership pedagogy has already set up through the gradient standard of discipline development, but its construction still has a long way to go.Leadership pedagogy is a field to study the activities and phenomena of leadership education. Its main task is to pursue the leadership education principles and explain the leadership education phenomenon as well as guide leadership educational practice.
