From Chinese Auto Enterprises' international competitiveness, both the theory andevaluation methods of the international industrial competitiveness are thoroughlyanalyzed, using Economic Competitiveness Theory, Industrial Economics, and Porter'sCompetitiveness Theory. Particularly, it emphasizes on the grid phenomenon amonggovernment-owned, cooperated, private-owned auto enterprises, under the intentlyglobal economic competitive background of all the "6+3" world multi-national autogroups entering into our national auto market. The well-defined competitivenessevaluation system is established here. Additionally, some political suggestions are givento improve our own enterprises on competitive edge.There are seven chapters total. The first chapter is introduction, such as researchbackground, motivation and the significance, together telling us the frontier progress ofcontemporary research both in the national and the international. The second chaptersums up the basic theories using, including the competitiveness economic theory,industrial economic theory, Porter's competitiveness theory, and ability-based companycompetitiveness theory, etc. The third chapter elaborates Chinese auto industrialdeveloping history, compared with the U.S.A, Japan, and Korea. The fourth chapteranalyzes the competitive setup currently, gives the international competitivenesscomparison each to the government-owned, cooperated, private-owned auto enterprises.The fifth chapter establishes the competitive estimation system, which is tested with thenewest data. Then objective appraisal is made about Chinese auto industrial presentsituation here. The sixth chapter gives out several rationalization proposal ofprogressing, from both macro and micro econimics aspects. The total summary is in thelast chapter.The most distinguished features in this thesis are:(1) Perspective viewing of Chinese auto enterprises' international competitiveness(2) From the content, own unique understandings are expressed by the analysis of boththe present setup situation and the competitiveness comparison.(3) From the methods, most classical and appropriate theories are using, such ascompetitive economic theory, industrial economic theory, Porter's competitivenesstheory, capability-based company competitiveness theory, layer discriminationmethods, etc. (4) From the conclusion, the useful suggestions are given based on both macro andmicro aspects.
