Chinese private-owned enterprises count for more than 50ï¼…among allenterprises of the country. They are the most active part of economic. However,during the economic transit period and facing the furious competition in the. market,their performance shows a serious lack of credit. Therefore, to study deeply andsystematically the reasons of their lack of credit and to find out the countermeasuresin practices are of great importance.Base on theoretical research on influencing factors of private-ownedenterprises' lack of credit, the thesis has make three hypotheses. Firstly, Chineseprivate-owned enterprises' lack of credit is periodical, and it is the result of inherentculture and dynamic social economy. Secondly, this kind of lack of credit is the resultof chain effect due to certain uncertainty. Thirdly, this kind of lack of credit is theresult of ordered-changing factors and disordered-changing factors. These will befollowed by theoretical analyze to these hypothesizes.The author has undertaken a questionnaire through non-structural and structuralinterviews to study private-owned enterprises' lack of credit. Some members ofZhuhai Private-owned Enterprises Association have been selected as targets ofquestionnaire. Through the result, five factors of private-owned enterprises' lack ofcredit have been defined and their reliability has been studied.The result of study has confirmed the above three hypotheses of author, i.e., thereasons of private-owned enterprises' lack of credit are: forecast instability during theeconomy transit period; inferiority of legislative construction and credit system;inferiority of social credit mentality and enterprises' credit culture; lack of penaltystrength and low lost cost of credit; low level of private-owned enterprises' creditmanagement, etc.In order to solve the problem of private-owned enterprises' lack of credit andspeed up economy development in private sector, the author thinks that we shouldstrengthen construction of social credit culture. Micro-foundation and system ofprivate-owned enterprises' credit management should be established. At the present,we should especially speed up the development of credit agent as well as establish thecredit award and penalty mechanisms for private-owned enterprises.
