"Bioeconomics" opens Pandora's magic box. Modern biologic technique has changed mankind's production method and life style profoundly, influencing the process of economic society, which is human being's concern and will remold our world, stimulating the development of economy.Currently, research on bioeconomics is frontline of economics theory favored by domestic and oversea economic educational circles. The wide-spread problems of applied economics caused by biological technology such as on intellectual property, on industrial structure and competitive incentive, on distribution of rent, on preference of customers, on uncertainty of circumstance, on ethics, on safety and on international trade, etc, have broaden the realm of research on economy, and biological technology has extended the research category of the economic theories. As for the former analysis of biological technology in old days, the researches and discussions are more carried out from the perspective of natural science and social science than from that of economics. How to analyze and understanding biological technology from the angle of economics so that it will be ratified and recognized by the main stream of economic theories are a new challenge. The new research field needs emergently its own theory system to support itself, which, in terms of the scope of research, research content, research method and techniques for analysis, is blank.Bioeconomics puts forward challenge, which is extensively applied in the field of medical industry and agricultural industry, and penetrates into various realms such as environmental protection, energy industry, light industry, food industry and ocean development, etc. Currently, more than 60% of the biological technique fruits in the world are mainly applied in medical industry to develop specially used new medicine or to improve traditional medicine, which makes biomedicine industry a new thriving domain. Among the fastest developed, most energetic and most technique demanded fields in the realm of biomedicine industry is the biological pharmacy industry. Since the year 1982 when the first genetic engineering medicine, genetic modified human insulin, came into being, the biological pharmacy has brought two astonishments to the world in the shortly 25 years: one is to promote rapidly the development of the health and medical treatment level, while the other is to make "bioeconomics" occupy a prominent position in the national economy. Bioeconomics has brought the world with an opportunity of unlimited future. Taking the industry value chain as a center, associated with the brand products and famous enterprises promoting the development of middle sized and small enterprises, is the way of weighing whether the industry is mature or not. The industry value chain is the important link of the industry development. Therefore under the background that the bioeconomic is early clues, according to the characteristics of biomedicine industry, with the integration of the biomedicine industry value chain being turned into a research to choose, it is important to acquire advantage and to have important strategic meaning towards promoting the biological industry competition ability, and in the future living bioeconomie competition.The main research contents of this select topic: The structure of the industry value chain varies due to the characteristic dissimilarity of the industry.
