Strategic alliance is the effective method for MNC to enter foreign market, but this method is not always successful. In fact, strategic alliance isaprocess that made the outside resource internalization. During this process, advantage of cost and technoloy become possible. While this process depend on the resource integration which denpend on multi factors. So, the research on resource integration of MNC strategic alliance is necessary.This paper looks strategic alliance of MNC as a network structure. Firstly, analyze the boundary of this network, then distinguishes the internal and external factors of the network. Because of the characteristics of self-organize, there is internal control mechanism to push the network development. Based on the different extension of the control mechanism, this paper analyzes the formal mechanism and informal mechanism. Then describes the network of MNC strategic alliance as topology structure, and distinguish the network as top, type and cluster. These analysis construct a framework for the research on this topic and furthermore provide boundary and baseline for following analysis in this paper.Under the above framework, this paper analyzes the internal resource integration of MNC strategic alliance. An important view is the integration actually is the process of rule decision for resource allocation. And the objectives of integration are both internal visible resource and invisible resource. Based on this analysis, this paper study the process of knowledge creation and distribution, point out that the internal knowledge creation and corresponding organization guarantee. These researches provide theory base for knowledge management and resource allocation in MNC strategic alliance. Furthermore, this paper analyzes the principle for MNC strategic alliance resource, and proposes the conception of internal market, then proves the effectiveness of internal market for MNC strategic alliance resource with the equilibrium model.The external factors of MNC strategic alliance almost cover all the organization outside headquarters and subsidiary. So this paper just analyzes the three most important factors for MNC strategic alliance, they are suppliers relationship, customers relationship and technology cooperator. For the suppliers relationship, this paper used the portfolio analysis to decide the strategy of supplier choice and relationship integration. For the customers relationship, this paper made a method of channel integration and knowledge integration, by these methods, MNC can create common capability of value creation with customers to guarantee the continue cooperation. The technology alliance of MNC strategic alliance is the important means for technology innovation. For the technology alliance, innovation network and knowledge integration within the innovation network are most important factors for the innovation capacity.Assessment for resource integration of MNC strategic alliance is the base for adjustment of the network. Based on the analysis of above three chapters, this paper made three assessment models depend on the different aspects of resource integration. They are respectively AHP, component analysis and harmony analysis. These assessment models can assess the overall integration effectiveness. Finally, this paper made an empirical analysis with these assessment model based on the questionair of some MNC that made strategic alliance.
