With the globalization of economy and the integration of informational technology, patent strategic change is one part of strategic managing actions for matching environmental change of the corporations, serving as a new challenge the corporations have to face. While the patent strategic change is theoretically blank field, it falls into inspectional field of the patent strategy and strategic change. What the dissertation has done as follows.Firstly, the dissertation theoretically constructed basic frame of the patent strategic change. The dissertation holds that the patent strategic change is kind of strategic managing activities made by the corporation for matching the change of the environment. Besides that, the patent strategic change is characterized by strategy, integrality, the widen scope and uncertainty. Meanwhile, the dissertation points out that the periods of patent research, application and implementation pulsing the affecting scope of patent characteristics of Ricardo rent, Schumpeter rent and Chamberlain rent build the scope of time and space the patent strategic change evolves in. In additional, the patent strategic change is composed by two types of posture-oriented and content amplifying-oriented, being featured with change intensity, extent and speed.Secondly, the dissertation constructed the process model of the patent strategic change, expounding running mechanism of the model. Actually, the process model of the patent strategic change is built by six items of corporation's environment in both inside and exterior, strategic cognition, controlling way, patent strategic change and performance. In additional, the dissertation undertook the research on the characteristics of the patent strategic change through the construction of three items of the patent strategic change driving, controlling methods and change process demonstrated by change speed and extent. Finally, the dissertation has taken examples in some cities for field investigation research and has conformed 16 hypotheses from the model.Thirdly, the dissertation constructed factors affecting model of the patent strategic change risk. Because of combining operation of corporation's environment, the process of patent technological innovation, ecological posture of patent technology, the controlling method and the location of interior resources, the risk of the patent strategic change came into being. Furthermore, four types of change risks in total including adapting risk, innovational risk, cooperating risk and supporting risk have been produced respectively as results. What is more, the dissertation indicated that the risk of the patent strategic change produced, while the impact resulted from the many factors running, such as, the mechanism of stimulating-feedback, patent technological innovation, the vision of the patent strategic change, patent information scan and application, the mechanism of the patent strategic management and dynamic capabilities, broken up restriction of the valves of the change intensity, extent and speed in the system of the patent controlling. On the basis of that, the dissertation offered the measurements of the risk controlling.Lastly, the dissertation, on the basis of the theory of the Balanced Scorecard, constructed the performance managing system on patent strategic change. Through the construction of three managing model of patent strategic change including performance management, balanced scorecard and strategic plan, the performance managing system on patent strategic change becomes a comprehensive managing unit with strategic targets, evaluating index and actions, serving to strategic management and change performance.
