The competitive advantage for the enterprises depends on the increasingly continuous technology innovation to response the uncertainty of external environment under the condition of economic globalization and the knowledge development. As the nature of technology is the production and creation of knowledge, the application of knowledge plays a pivotal role in the processes of innovation. The enterprise acquires the knowledge through the cooperation with the enternal organizations and increases the stocking of knowledge thereby developing the path of improving enterprise technology innovation performance. The university is seen as the most important knowledge producing organization that is to be the best offer for the enterprise to choose their partner. The common aim for both enterprise and university is to realize their technology innovation with the knowledge transferring; thus, lots of issues will be handled, such as how to improve the performance of knowledge transfer between university and enterprise, how to improve the enterprise's technology innovation performance and the like. These issues are explored in this dissertation and are also the main aims to the research. The technology innovation theory and knowledge transfer theory can be enriched by the research on university-enterprise knowledge transfer toward enterprise technology innovateion; meanwhile, it can develop the cooperation between university and enterprise at higher levels.The research studies in this dissertation are based on the theory of knowledge transfer, the enterprise technology innovation and enterprise knowledge. And the methodologies are mainly focused on the logic reasoning, case analysis, empirical analysis and systems analysis. The whole research is based on the aim of enterprise technology innovation and the core of knowledge transfer between university and enterprise.Firstly, it constructs the overall process mechanism framework. Secondly, it defines the factors that affect the knowledge transfer and enterprise technology innovation performance.Thirdly, it discoveries the system process of knowledge transfer and operation. Lastly, it makes full use of the current situation and generates the strategies in China.In the view of process mechanism, it advances a comprehensive process mechanism framework for university-enterpirse knowledge transfer toward enterprise technology innovateion. It explains the tasks and operating mechanism in desirable environment through the analysis of the starting stage, operating stage and ending stage. These operating mechanisms are: motivation mechanism, searching mechanism, mechanism for the learning organization, knowledge internalization mechanism, knowledge stocking mechanism and feedback mechanism, which smooth out the gap between process and mechanism in knowledge transfer study.In the point of influencing factors, it does the empirical studies on the performance of knowledge transfer through the characters analysis of knowledge, source (university), receiver (enterprise) and organizations. First, it builds the model and shows the hypothesis.Sechodly, we use the questionnaire to collect some data and analyze these data. Thirdly, the SEM is employed to test the model and calculate the importance of influencing factors and mode of action. Again, it recovers the key influencing factors that affect the technology innovation, the operating performance and actual effect.In the view of system operating, it produces the model of system dynamics for university-enterprise knowledge transfer toward enterprise technology innovateion. It displays the constitution and characteristics and gives the definition of system boundaries. It pictures the cause-effect graph and system flow that shows the internal correlation and internal feedback system. Meanwhile, a simulation is employed to prove the operating trend and features thereby producing the measures for system optimization.In the view of countermeasures proposing, based on the theory analysis of above and consists with the current situation such as the state of university-enterprise cooperation and the deficiency of enterprise interdependent innovation,it advances the strategic implication for improving enterprise technology innovation and knowledge transfer performance.
