Research On The Effect Of Industry-University-Research Cooperation On Innovation Performance

Nowadays,the technical innovation are becoming interdisciplinary and cross-organizational.Since R & D infrastructure is weak, the vast majority of SMEs lack of R & D personnel, insufficient research and development capabilities, etc., it is difficult to complete a full independent innovation activities.Industry-universityresearch cooperation is an efficient way to integrate various resources, reduce research time and development costs, accelerate the transformation of the role. Over the past few years industry-university-research cooperation has bring great attention to improve the efficiency of scientific and technological achievements, create knowledge to wealth, nurture the emerging industries. We have reasons to believe that industry-university- research cooperation is an important path to enhance the technological innovation capability of enterprises and their innovation performance.After combing literature, it is shown that industry-university- research cooperation’s important function is to improve enterprise’s technological innovation capability, which behind is the transfer of knowledge.Based on the knowledge transfer perspective,this paper will focus on manufacturing enterprises in Zhejiang province,explore the driving mechanism of industry-university- research cooperation enhancing innovation capability,which is based on the mediating role of enterprise’s technological innovation capability. At last I put forward Suggestions.I have carried on the empirical research with the sample of 194 companies.Finally I will reach the following conclusions:(1)As government policy guiding force growing, interactive tightness,relationship stability,policy using degree,cooperation consistency can be used to measure the industry-university-research cooperation.The four indicators have different relationships between industry-university-research cooperation to innovation performance and enterprise’s technological innovation capability.(2)enterprise’s technological innovation capability can be divided into technology absorption capacity and technology exploitation capacity,which have positive direct impacts on innovation performance.(3)Enterprise’s technological innovation capability has full mediation effect between industry-university-research cooperationand innovation performance.Technology absorption capacity and technology exploitation capacity has incomplete mediation effect between industry-university-research cooperationand innovation performance.
