China has seen rapid economic growth since 30 years of Reform and Opening-up. To reverse this situation, since the year 2004, Chinese government has launched support policy to farmers for planting grain, and balanced urban and rural development. The history for Chinese implementation of agricultural support policy is short. The method for current agricultural support is simple and the efficiency of support policy appears to be slowing down. However, most of the major developed countries have decades of history for implementation of agricultural support policies. Secondly, the author took historical and logical analysis methods to analyze the purpose and measures of implementing agricultural policies among China and main countries in different stages of development. Thirdly, the author adopted quantitative and qualitative analysis method to analyze main factors contributed to the level of agricultural support among China and main developed countries. Fourthly, through the comparison performances of the agricultural support policies among China and main developed countries, as well as the cause analysis for high performance of agricultural support policy, the author put forward some suggestions to improve the performance of Chinese agricultural support policy. The conclusion of the paper indicates that: First, current the evolution of agricultural support policies of main developed countries can be divided into four types, and comparison countries the author selected includes the United States, the European Union and South Korea. Secondly, although the purposes for implementation of agricultural support policies among China and main developed countries are different, the method of agricultural support transferring from agricultural price support to income directly support is the direction of agricultural support policies adjustment in WTO member countries.
