As the superficial mine resources depleted and the increasing demand forresources, the multi-rope friction hoist with heavy-loading, deep-well,high-speed is bound to become the mine production in future. The hoisting-ropeload condition of these mines is more complex, and the probability of theaccident happened is higher. These trends present a higher requirement forhoisting-rope mechanical properties. The grasp of the mechanical properties ofhoisting-rope mostly come from practical application summary or experimentalresearch in reality, which provides limited guidance for its production, selectionand application; and some adverse loads are produced due to unreasonablereplacement and adjustment craftwork. These factors partly reduce mechanicalproperties and safety factor of hoisting-rope. Therefore, it is great important toresearch the key technology of the above links in order to effectively improvethe safety of hoisting-rope as well as whole hoisting system. The correspondingtheories and technical proposals are put forward to improve hoisting-ropemechanical properties based on theoretical analysis of its mechanical properties(materials, production methods, special loads, etc.) and the existing problems ofadjustment and replacement.The method about improving the hoisting-rope mechanical properties isanalyzed from the points of its own properties. The effects of C and Mnelements on the mechanical behavior of wire-steel material are researched byintroducing the materials studio software, which provides a theoreticalcalculation method to improve the mechanical properties of hoisting-rope. From the matching analytic of production method (hoisting-rope cross section,twisting method and Zinc plating process) and load cases, it can obtain thatreasonable choice of hoisting-rope type can effectively improve its mechanicalproperties.The special loads (tensile torsion, the stress distribution of the wire strands,the periodic alternation, etc.) are analyzed based on hoisting-rope structuralproperties, which can provide the theoretical guidance for the further analysis ofthe mechanical properties of hoisting-rope dring the carrying period. The keyfactors that affect its mechanical properties are analyzed from its maintenance.The results show that lack lubrication, improper mothods of hoisting-ropereplacement and tension adjustment will reduce the mechanical properties tosome extent, And it emphasizes that the critical link are replacement andadjustment of hoisting-rope.The damage degree of the additional torsion load produced from the "newand old rope tied" replacement hoisting-rope method is analyzed combiningwith examples based on the hoisting-rope torsional properties produced duringthe normal operation. The conclusion showed that the torsion loads make themaximum stress value of internal wire-steel increases by about20%, and thedeeper the mine is, the greater this damage is. By demonstrating the anti-torsionreplacement hoisting-rope device schemes, the continuous and Micro-impactreplacement hoisting-rope device is developed based on the "hydraulic-opening,mechanical-locking" rope clamp mechanism and "pipe-forming" type of drivingrope principle; the ADMAS software simulation test analysis and the field testare indicate that the continuous and no-impact replacement hoisting-rope devicecan completly release the old hoiting-rope torsional stress and achieve the effectof Micro-impact, multi-rope synchronization, high security and stability.From the influence factors and accident cases analysis of hoisting-ropetension, it can conclude that the main factor of tension imbalance is thesehoisting-ropes different length adjusted improperly. The hoisting-rope quick adjustment hoisting-rope device that can adapt to various working conditions(especially condition of heavy loaded and deep well) is developed based on thecontrast argument of the "locking" mechanism and the overall scheme. Both theANSYS/ls-dyna simulation and laboratory experiment results validated that therationality on the design of this clamp mechanism. Field industrial test showsthat this device can efficiently and safely adjust the hoisting-rope and effectivelyeliminate the tension imbalance among hoisting-ropes.To sum up, this article research puts forward the corresponding theoreticaland technical solutions to effectively improve hoisting-rope mechanical propertybased on the analysis of its mechanical properties and influence factors, whichhas a good reality and long-term strategic significance to improve the safety ofhoisting-rope and meet the mine requirements.
