With the development of computer technology, network technology, communication technology and artificial intelligence technology, contemporary manufacturing industry is booming and turning networked, global, and intellectual. In this background, networked manufacturing emerged. Networked manufacturing is an advanced manufacturing mode, which is aimed at fasting market demand response and enhancing companies’competitive power, and is taken by the companies to cope with the challenge by knowledge economy and manufacturing globalization. Networked manufacturing constructs certain network based manufacturing systems for certain requirements. This breaks through the spatial restrictions for companies’business running scale and mode, realizes the cooperation between companies and the integration of social resources, and serves the customers with the required products and services in shorter time, higher quality, and lower cost. Under the new manufacturing mode, the traditional model of technical services can not meet the needs of enterprises and users.Networked technical service refers to provide customers with the services, knowledge and information they need, while using Internet and Web technology. It is a new mode, which can be used by manufacturing enterprises for providing the services to users in the background of the diversification and globalization of products and customers. As a new idea, networked technical service system is designed to adapt to the decentralization of manufacturing enterprises, as well as the international demand of customers and equipment suppliers. It is a kind of computer network system, which mainly uses the theories, techniques and methods of systems engineering with the help of network technology, computer technology, modern communication technology, artificial intelligence technology and multimedia technology and can be used for information exchange, knowledge sharing and collaborative work of inner-enterprise, enterprises and users and enterprises and suppliers. Above all, this paper summrizes the status and development trend of product lifecycle and technical service home and abroad and elucidates the purpose, significance and main content of the reasearch of this paper. On this basis, this paper makes the further research to the architecture of networked technical service, the integration and reuse of the knowledge of networked technical service, collaborative work technology, mission planning of the service information and the performance evaluation of networked technical service and makes the development of prototype system based on the theoretic research. In this paper, the main research works are:(1) Based on large number of literature materials, the definition, connotation and characteristics, main research contents, and research actuality and the development trend home and abroad of networked technical service,as well as the definition and research actuality and the development trend home and abroad of technical service are introduced. Meanwhile, research significance is illustrated.(2) Functional requirement of networked technical service oriented product lifecycle is analysed. Functional model of networked technical service oriented product lifecycle is built. System architecture of networked technical service oriented product lifecycle based on multi-Agent is designed.(3) For improving system intelligence in order to improve the effciency and quality of technical service, the integration and reuse of the technical servive knowledge based on ontology theory is researched. The system architecture of networked technical service oriented product lifecycle knowledge fusion is built. The construction method of the ontology library of the field of technical service knowledge is researched.(4) Realizing product data sharing and exchanging under the networked environment is the key point and technical difficulties to make the system development of networked technical service oriented product lifecycle. STEP is the latest international data exchange agreement. The data exchanging and sharing model of networked technical service based on STEP is built.(5) The cooperative work technology of networked technical service oriented product lifecycle is researched. The construction method, key technologies and tools of system working environment of networked technical service oriented product lifecycle is mainly researched. The networked cooperative working environmental developing method using a combination of program sharing technology, multimedia technology and relative technologies is presented. (6) For improving the application effect of networked technical service system, the performance fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method of networked technical service system using a combination of analytic hierarchy process and prior relation method is presented, and through the example, the performance fuzzy process of networked technical service system is dissertated in detail.(7) Based on theoretical research, a prototype system of networked technical service oriented product lifecycle is developed referred to the actual demand of a CNC machine tool company in Shenyang. The realization and applying method of some functional model in the system is simply analyzed. Testing results demonstrate the correctness of theoretical research and the feasibility of technological realization.
