Research On Green Space System Planning Of Plain Villages And Towns Based On The Theory Of Green Infrastructure

Nowadays, the conflict increasingly stand out between rapid urbanization development and the limited land resource of villages and towns as well as the carrying capacity of natural environment. As the very important links of the villages and towns construction development, Green Space System Planning of villages and towns plays a role of coordinating with nature, serving human being, as well as guaranteeing the healthy development of the villages and towns. And its rationality directly affect the development quality of the social and economic construction of China’s villages and towns. At present, the theories and methods of Chinese green Space System Planning of villages and towns is lagging behind, and most of the villages and towns is still planning and constructing according to the urban area green space system planning theories and methods, which is disjointed with the actuality seriously. Thus, a green space system planning theory and method bases on the current situation of Chinese villages and towns is very needed to solve the practical problem. As a theory emphasizes on the optimizing land use and functional benefit maximized, The Green Infrastructure Theory is an useful and promising guidance of green space system planning with a good combination with China’s national conditions. Therefore, this study mainly focus on China’s plain villages and towns’ green space and try to build a planning theory that accords with the current need of China’s plain villages and towns development by introducing the green infrastructure theory. The study results are as follows:1) An definition of green space in villages and towns, which shall include the green space of the settlement construction area under the villages and towns system(general town, market town and village) and the green space outside the construction area. According to the two levels of spatial scale (general town area and settlement area),the villages and towns’ green space planning can be divided into villages and towns’ green space system planning, master planning of villages and towns’ green space system, regulatory planning of villages and towns’ green space system, detailed construction planning of villages and towns’ green space system and construction planning of villages’ green space.2) It brought up that the core is to rebuild the conjugate relation between natural system and villages and towns development by building up the green inirastructure system. And thus to build up a structure of China’s plain villages and towns’ green space system planning methods.3) On the level of villages and towns’ green space classification, according to the combination of green infrastructure system elements and villages and towns’ green space functions, it brought up a3levels classification system of villages and towns green space based on the theory of green space infrastructure. The theory perfectly mixed the concepts of connectivity, dimensions of coordination and multi-function of green infrastructure theory, with the current situation of China’s villages and towns.4) On the level of master planning layout of villages and towns’ green space system, the study defines the concept of ’changing villages and towns’ infrastructure to green space system structure’ oriented, brought up a green space layout theory based on ’the suitability evaluation of the villages and towns’ green space’, and eventually build up a green space system that presents its multi-function and land use optimization.5) On the level of villages and towns’ green space system evaluation, the study brought up the concept of building up a villages and towns’ green space system planning evaluation indicator based on the ’green infrastructure system connectivity’.6) On the level of villages and towns’ green space system procedure, the study made a further effort of completing the procedure of villages and towns’ green space system planning—by adding ’evaluation mechanism’ and ’public participation mechanism’, as well as focusing on, completing and supplementing the prophase investigation and result collection of the planning. In addition, the study also add in the procedure new green space system planning content based on the green infrastructure theory.
