In recent years, commercial complex is growing fast in China. Its energy consumption per unit area is the highest in all types of commercial buildings for its higher comfort requirements and longer running time, as a result, commercial complex has tremendous potential for energy saving and has BHcome an important aspect of building energy conservation. Therefore, research on energy conservatio of commercial complex has great significance for reducing the consumption of resources and energy, protection of the ecological environment, and promoting the sustainable development of city and the whole human society.Development boom of commercial complex have also sprung up in the hot summer and warm winter area. As the typical area of hot summer and warm winte, Xiamen was selected in this thesis, and typical commercial complex buildings in main shopping district of Xiamen area are taken as the research objects. External and internal features, equipment characteristics and activity characteristics are investigated through field reconnaissance, literature review, interview, comparative analysis and other methods. Commercial complex evolution law are put forward, the corresponding building energy conservation design method in Xiamen area are summarized, and building energy conservation design problems of present commercial complex are found.“Modular design method” can decompose complex problems into simple modules, therefore, “modular design method” are applied to building energy conservation design for commercial complex. Energy conservation modular design, which is different from the tranditional integral energy conservation design, can achieve a good integration Between integral energy conservation design and independent module energy conservation design. Database of commercial complex energy conservation module is established, and energy conservation module is divided into three levels for library management: the component level, module level, and element level. Design system of the building energy conservation modular design for commercial complex is established, including series design, modular design and standardization design methods. Evaluation system of the building energy conservation modular design for commercial complex is established. Evaluation of envelope energy conservation module, internal space energy conservation module and internal reference value of the overall energy consumption is used to determine if building energy conservation of commercial complex met the requirements or not.Through “modular design method”, building energy conservation design for commercial complex is broken into two research parts: “Shell” and “Core”. “Shell” means envelope energy conservation modular design of commercial complex buildings. While, “Core” means internal space energy conservation modular design of commercial complex buildings. Tianzheng TBHC2013 software and DesignBuilder software are used to carry out energy consumption simulation experiments of envelope and six main business forms, and 50 groups of experimental data are obtained. Then, based on statistical software EVIEWS, multiple regression mathematical model for prediction thermal performance of external envelope structure and energy consumption of typical internal business space is established. Reliability of the model is checked by statistical tests and actual case inspection. An convenient support tool for building energy conservation modular design for commercial complex in Xiamen area is developed and its feasibility is verified using actual case.In this thesis, building energy conservation modular design method and corresponding evaluation system for commercial complex in Xiamen are put forward, series design, modular design and standardization design methods are established. The research contens supplement the existing energy conservation design methods for commercial buildings, and provide theoretical method and technical support for building energy conservation design of commercial complex in typical hot summer and warm winter region.
