Study On Rural Ecological Regeneration Planning And Strategies In Chinese Developed Area During Transitional Period

The villages in developed regions in our country are facing a comprehensive transformation of social organization, economic structure and ecological environment. The contradiction between the increasing demand and the lack of theory and method is more and more noteworthy. The current extensive renewal mode highly strikes at the rural ecologicalenvironment. The jumping-off point of this study is base on the transitional rural renewal, to open up a theoretical explanation of its pattern, mechanism and process while search out an ecological target-strategy approach.Based on the background above, this paper sets up a research path and content arrangements of "Framework Establishment-Empirical Analysis-Target Strategy Establishment" by questionnaire interviews, empirical analysis and literature review, building up an explanatory framework of village renewal planning by drawing on Niche theory. This paper also proposes a target-strategy system and carries out the empirical research on the villages in Hangzhou river bank region.The "Framework Establishment" imports the niche theory, whichprovides appropriatetheoretical tools for ecological theories to face the "four grand challenges" in the process of rural renewal.This study extract ruralniche fitness model and niche expansion model, integrated into the five-core phases ofvillage regeneration process, carry out the four categories of village regenerationanalysis and form the theoretical explanatory framework for interpreting thevillage renewal process in the developed regions.The "Empirical Analysis" takes villages in waterfront rural areas of "Qiantang River, Fuchun River and Xin’an River" in Hangzhou for examples and analyze the five phase of "Situation analysis-Pattern Analysis-Targeting-Content Strategy -Policy Implementation" on village regeneration. Firstly, it clearsthe value flux, development stages and regeneration characteristics of ecological village renewal; Secondly, it draws on Niche fitness model and makes theclassifying judgment of its spatial pattern and regeneration potential at both level of region and village; Again,it uses Niche expansion model to explain howthe five key factors-natural resources, ecological demand, institutional environment, eco-technologies and geographical locations-affect the village niche pattern change; Finally, itproposes the corresponding optimization measures based on analyzing how the village renewal policies affect the village renewal subjects, content and procedures.The "Target-StrategyEstablishment" forms four types of subsystem of regeneration target and strategy based on the four categories of village regeneration analysis, and take Meirong Village in Tonglu County as a practical test. Through the empirical deduction, this paper clarifiesthe feasibility and controllabilityof "Target-Strategy" regeneration path as well as its effectiveness of improving the village visage and achievingthe ecological goals.This study provides a research thought of village regeneration planning based on the niche theory perspective, enriching the empirical researchof rural build environment and reference for future ecological village regeneration planningin developed region.
