Since China put forward the "innovation-driven development strategy," emerging strategic industries have emerged rapidly in today’s diversified economic market.Addressing the significance of innovation,companies launch innovative strategies with the help of emerging strategic industries.As the relevance appears more frequently as the launch of the national strategy deployment,the new-energy vehicle industry represents the transformation from traditional to emerging industries.Its internal innovation and upgrading process can be used to reference the innovation and reform of related sectors within the whole industry chain.As the guiding theoretical basis of enterprise management in recent years,strategic niche management theory,organically combining the niche theory with strategic transformation,puts forward the relevant experience for subversive enterprise innovation from the aspects of technology,market,industry,etc.Therefore,this paper chooses to apply the strategic niche management theory(SNM)to the innovation performance research of the new energy vehicle industry,in the way of the integration of internal and external perspectives,through the study of the concept,connotation,and analytical framework of technological niche and market niche.Moreover,this paper conducts further study of the relationship between technology niche and market niche,that relationship on enterprise innovation performance,and market niche as intermediary variables to hypothesize and verify the relationship between them.This paper obtains the relevant factors that affect innovation performance,summarizes and analyzes the results of hypothesis verification,and puts forward suggestions for the innovation and development of the new-energy vehicle industry.First of all,this paper integrates the literature and discusses the connotation of SNM theory from five perspectives: technological niche,market niche,coupling mechanism of technological niche and market niche,technological paradigm and industrial niche,and summarizes the relevant reviews of new energy vehicle industry from three perspectives:innovation and development of new-energy vehicles,technological innovation,and market occupation.On this basis,this paper adopts the theoretical framework model of "technology niche-market niche-innovation performance." In addition,with the quantitative analysis methods such as questionnaire and multiple regression analysis for the hypothesis verification,this paper uses multiple regression analysis and other relevant approaches to test the theoretical framework model empirically and received the positive correlation among the three concepts and the intermediary role of the market niche.Finally,according to the verification conclusion combined with industry-specific attributes,this paper puts forward sustainable strategic suggestions on the macro market,core technology,and talent planning of the new energy vehicle industry from the national,industrial,and enterprise levels in order to promote the priority,comprehensiveness and long-term development of the new-energy vehicle industry.
