In recent years, with the rapid development of urban rail transit,a large number of passengers are transferred to the urban rail transit system, which brings great pressure to the limited transport capacity.Efficient passenger flow control is an important method to improve the order of passenger flow and promote the normal operation of urban rail transit system.Transfer passage is the main transfer facility in the transfer station,so it is particularly important to study the passenger flow control. However, most of the existing researches focus on the macro passenger flow control, and there is almost no research on the passenger flow control of transfer passage. Most of existing researches are qualitative researches, without quantitative research and empirical research. Therefore, the station management can only formulate passenger flow control measures based on experience. This paper is based on the above background and the shortcomings of the existing research.Through the study of the pedestrian flow simulation of the transfer passages, the passenger flow control is discussed.Firstly, the domestic and foreign pedestrian flow simulation and passenger flow control research are reviewed in this paper.Based on the lack of existing research, the theoretical framework of Transfer passage passenger flow control research is established: firstly, the pedestrian behavior in the passage is analyzed, the parameters of passenger flow are counted, and the simulation model of passage passenger flow is established according to the results of behavior analysis, and then the accuracy of the simulation model is verified by the statistical characteristics of pedestrian flow. Finally, the accurate simulation model is used to simulate the passenger flow control of interchange passage, and the control effect is quantitatively studied.Secondly, this paper introduces the concept and characteristics of urban rail transit transfer passages,as well as the related theories of passenger flow control,so as to determine the content and objectives of the research on passenger flow control of the transfer passages.Thirdly, the pedestrian behavior in the passage is analyzed.Quantitative and qualitative analysis was conducted on the results of the pedestrian experiment conducted by Armin Seyfried’s team: the movement parameters of pedestrian flow in the passage were calculated quantitatively and the macroscopic fundamental diagram was drawn;the behavior characteristics of pedestrians in the passage and the macroscopic self-organization phenomenon of bidirectional passages pedestrian flow were analyzed qualitatively according to the experimental video files. Then,by improving the field model, the state dependent differentiated field model of pedestrian simulation is established.Based on the state dependent differentiated field model, the pedestrian simulation model is established according to the characteristics of pedestrian behavior in the passage, and the computer program of pedestrian simulation in the passage is developed. The accuracy of the model is verified from two aspects of self-organization phenomenon and fundamental diagram form, which proves the simulation ability of the state dependent differentiated field model for pedestrians in the passage.Compared with the simulation results of the unimproved model,it is proved that the improved model is more accurate in the simulation of pedestrian flow. Finally, starting from the study of the reasonable form of the isolation facilities in the transfer passage, the simulation program is used to simulate the common control measures of undirectional passages and bidirectional transfer passages, and the passenger flow control index of the transfer passage under the control is analyzed, which provides a theoretical basis for the passenger flow control of the transfer passage.
