This paper was divided into four chapters, tried to reappear the original look of Huainan poetry, gave an objective review on their poetry creations and poetry activities, and resumed its important status on the poetry, poetry association and adherents of the Ming Dynasty’s creations by making a thorough investigation and study on the "Wang society"The first chapter mainly studied the assemblies and associations between the poets in Huainan. On the basis of introducing the backgrounds and origins, this chapter centered in the "Wang society" and investigated the time, place, content, form and source of funds of their gatherings.Finally, centered on combining with the poetry, this chapter approached the features of their poems about their associations.The second chapter centered on the imperial examination system’s influence on Huainan’s poetry circle. Firstly, investigated and analyzed the situation of the Huainan’s imperial examination system from Chongzhen to Kangxi eighteenth year, and deduced a conclusion that in early Qing Dynasty the Shunzhi period was the golden age of the Huainan’s recruitment examination. Secondly, this chapter comprehensively differentiated the renowned event "Shanyang candidates’ failures in imperial recruitment examination". Thirdly, the chapter made a deep investigation on QiuXiangsheng’s poetry works, who was the chief member of "Wang society". Fourthly, taking Yan Ruoqu for example, the chapter discussed achievements and features of Huainan learned scholars’ poetry.The third chapter mainly discussed the families of the Huainan poets’. First the chapter made a textual research on the family members of Huainan poets. Based on the analysis of Huainan poets’families, this chapter had proved that the government official families were more dominant than other families, but the non-government official families were the main body in the poetry circle in Huainan. Then this chapter discussed the local characteristics of Huainan poetry in the early Qing Dynasty from four aspects the water route, water conservancy, commercial and the conflicts between officials. Finally, this chapter made a case study of QiuXiangsheng’s family’s composition.The fourth chapter focused on the poetry of poets who were exiled in Huainan. In compiling of exiled poets’scattered works, this chapter explained that why there were so many exiled poets in Huainan, and demonstrated the exiled poets’poetry was the important part of the Huainan poetry and one of the major reasons for Huainan to be the "poetry city".And this chapter also made a case analysis of Wan Shouqi who was the leader in Huainan poets among the adherents of the Ming Dynasty.
