The Research Of Luyifei’s Fine Art

Regarded as a famous bird-and-flower painter, Chinese calligrapher, and art educator, Luyifei transformed his art style from quietly elegant to pristine and majesty during his life time. Mr. Lu had successfully taken an integration of fine-brush, mogu, slight freehand and great freehand style. Mr. Lu’s style took shape in his old age with the unique aspect of bimo and color. He is also known as cursive Chinese calligraphy.The dissertation expounds on the changes of Luyifei’s artistic style and the influence to the later generations by the research of the factors such as Luyifei’s mentoring relationship, his artistic achievements and style features, Lu’s theory of art, and relevant papers to Mr. Lu’s art. Through the analyze of Luyifei’s succession to traditional Chinese art and his innovation in the art, this dissertation trying to interpret Luyifei’s specific achievements and give some available information about creation of art.
