In "wars between the Joseon Dynasty and the Later Jin Dynasty (the Qing Dynasty)" at the first half of the 17th century, the Joseon Army could only defense under the surprise attack of Jurchen (Manchu) fighters. After the army meeting their Waterloo, the Emperor RenZu performed the three kowtows and nine prostrations to Qingtaizong Huangtaiji. The Joseon Dynasty became vassal state of the Qing Empire. It made an essential effect not only to the alternation from the Ming to the Qing and a new Northeast Asian political structure, but also to the historical trend of the Joseon Dynasty. It also left endless war damage to the people. Over the next hundreds of years, it surely had been a trauma and shame that cannot be cured to the people in the Joseon Dynasty. So only few researchers are doing a deep systematical research on Literature of "wars between the Joseon Dynasty and the Later Jin Dynasty (the Qing Dynasty)". The research achievements are very limited, even though there are plenty of literature works about it. This situation has continued to modern times, therefore there still exist some misunderstandings in Korean Peninsula academic circles on the history of "wars between the Joseon Dynasty and the Later Jin Dynasty (the Qing Dynasty)". Many problems remain to be clarified. The historical truths and rights and wrongs left over by history can only be evaluated by later generations. Chinese Literature of "wars between the Joseon Dynasty and the Later Jin Dynasty (the Qing Dynasty)" is generally divided into four parts as logs, biography, fiction and poetry. As a record of "wars between the Joseon Dynasty and the Later Jin Dynasty (the Qing Dynasty)", literature of logs can be divided into Battle of Sarhu logs, Battle of Dingmao logs and Battle of Bingzi logs. Biography literature like Jinjiangjunzhuan, Sanxueshizhuan, Minlongyanxingzhuan mainly choose important events and epic deeds to generally describe an individual life. Novels mainly about battle of Sarhu include prisoner literature like Zhao Weihan’s Chinese novel Cuizhizhuan, Hong Shitai’s Jinyingzhezhuan and Quan Chi’s Jiangluzhuan. Battle of Bingzi-themed Chinese novel Liulvzhuan and Jiangdumengyoulu representend the miserable situaiton of war and questioned the responsibility of the defeat. In Chinese poetry about "wars between the Joseon Dynasty and the Later Jin Dynasty (the Qing Dynasty)", there are poets mostly grieving for General Jin Yinghe. In battle of Bingzi-themed Chinese poets, Li Yingxi’s Bingziluanhouhuanjiazhuishubiluanzhongshijizengzhaolvbi Sishiyun is mainly about the shadows of wars. But it also conclude a considerable part of praise for the Emperor of the Joseon Dynasty. Given this, my thesis takes Chinese Literature of "wars between the Joseon Dynasty and the Later Jin Dynasty (the Qing Dynasty) as research object. It uses New Historicism literary theory and critical approach, widely collect related works and historic literature to mainly discuss the intertextuality between literature and history. It not only clearly outlines the Chinese Literature of the "wars between the Joseon Dynasty and the Later Jin Dynasty (the Qing Dynasty)", but also particularly analyzes specific works of writers. On this basis, this thesis makes its own value judgment.
