Zha Shenxing is a famous poet during the Qing dynasty, who was one of the six best poets. There has been a lot of research results about the characteristics and achievements of his poems. However, his poetry theory and criticism was rarely mentioned. The reason is that jingyetang poety collected works has been popular since the Qing dynasty, but jingyetang collected works and the 12 kinds of poetry criticismof chubaian was unkown in a long period of history. The scholars cannot have a clear understanding about Zha shenxing’s poetic criticism. Som famous poetic works of Zhejiang province even without mention Zha shenxing. In orderd to reverse the biased phenomenon, this paper make a detailed analysis of the 12 kinds poetry criticismof chubaian,try to compare with the jingyetang poety collected works and jingyetang collected works, to restore the original face of Zha shenxing’s poetry ciiticism theory.In adition to some familiar theoretical tendencies, Zha shenxing also have the following tendencies in his essays and poems, such as pay attention to the relationship of the poem’s style and the author’s personality, advocates the learning to supplement the talent and strongly apposed to the bad habits of simulate and capy. In adion, through the analysis of some poems and poetry critic, we can summarize that Zha shenxing has taken quite a generous openness attitude to poets, regaardless of their choose to study which age and poet.So Zha shenxing is not just confined to the Tang and Song poems on his poetry, it also inclusive, this all-inclusive spirit is the core and essence of his poetry.Zha Shenxin’s poetic theory and tendency are closely related to his expericence and culturalinfluen, his teachers and friends such as Qian qianyi,Huang zongxi, Qian chengzhi, Wang shizhen, Lu jiasshu, Zha jizuo, Zhu yizun, played a crucial role in his poetic theory and concepts formation process.In early Qing dynasty, there was a fierce controversy about it should study Tang or Song poem. Zha Shenxing put forward the idea that both Tang and Song poem should bestudied. It is a path of compromise that not only study Tang and Song dynasties,and also learn Song and Yuan’s famous poems. The idea Contains the Song poetry school policies, that is on the basis of without confrontations to traditinal mainstream poetica, arguing for the development opportunities and space for Song poetry faction.From the number and the force degreement of the 12 kinds poetry criticismof chubaian,Dufu is the most important poet in Tang dynasty, and Sushi is the most important poet in Song dynasty.Therefore, this paper argues that advocate to learn Dufu and Sushi’s poem should be the embodiment and main content of Zha shennxing’s poetry theory. Through the careful analysis of Zha shennxing’s poem, it can be seen that Zha shennxing’s imitation and succession of two great poets are comprehensive and profoud. this is the practice of his theory,that should learn Tang and Song poetry at the same time. However, traditionally view think that Zha shennxing’s poems modeled after Sushi and Luyou,two famous poets of Song dynasty.It is actually a wrong ideas which should be corrected. The wrong due to not reach Zha shennxing’s poetics system to grasp his true models.The innovtion of Zha Shennxing’s poetic theory is feflected in the three aspects. Firstly,the promotion of rare survival and risk in stange. secondly, promoting direct description against allusions. Thirdly, advocate the poem should thick,male, light, plain. As for the meaning of Zha shennxing’s seeking unfamiliarity in the familiarity, it be understood as a spirit of innovation by scholars. Some scholars argues that there are two ways in Zha Shenxing’s poems, one is descriping the ancients never or less descripted things,the secon is repeatedly description of the same subject. Zha shennxing’s so-called seeking unfamiliarity is not agree with the traditional poery in which unfamiliarity and familiarity has a dialectical relationship. After a detailed study, I found it comes from the theory of painting and calligraphy in Ming and Qing dynasties. Zha Shenxing transplanted it to the poetics,so the meaning of seeking unfamiliarity in the familiarity is that after the extreme splendour is plain.Therefore, Zha shennxing’s poetic theory that seeking unfamiliarity in the familiarity although literally can easily be interpreted as art innovation, but from the perspective of painting in Ming and Qing dynasies, it is inagreement with the line drawing. In the particularhistory environment of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, Zha Shenxing’s poetic theory,advocate line drawing and oppose allusions,has a strong practical relevance. We can find that Zha Shenxing has a particularly vigilant and resentment to Feng ban and Feng shu in Yushan poetic schoolar. They advocated the Kustan style from the Li shangyin, and it also contains Zha Shenxing’s complex attitudes to Jiangxi poetic genre and it’s leader Huang tingjian. In one hand,Zha Shenxing advocated the line drawing is the corrction of the poetry disadvantages, on the other hand, it is the result of rethinking to the advantanges of Song poetry. In addition,,Zha Shenxing’s poetic theory recorded in a book, Li an po poerty notes, which has very high dialectical and rich poetic connotation, and it has a certain relevence to the Jing ling poery genre. The theory can complement with the 12 kinds poetry criticismof chubaian and Jingyetang collected works. The three works are indispensable part of Zha Shenxing’s poetry criticism system.
