The Aesthetic Study Of The Western Space Theory

The western space theory can be divided into three theoretical modality- traditional space concept, modern space concept and contemporary space theory. The contemporary western space theory rose suddenly in 1970 s, which makes western space theory get into the academic circle at home and abroad as an integrity subject. With the interdisciplinary characteristic, this study provides rich space for diffetent theoretial views. This paper is written mainly from the aesthetic perspective, focusing on the core space theorist and related theories in western theory history. Explanations and evaluations are made through aesthetic espect, in order to grasp the whole subject from both macro and micro point of view. The modality changes of western space theory and the aesthetic spirits in particular historical stage can be reflected by each other. Space concept under the traditional metaphysics viewpoint established confrontation pattern with scientific space and humanistic space, which reveals the logic transformation of aesthetic from objectivism to subjectivism. Social space concept under ontology point of view has formed the practical space concept, urban space concept and ecological space concept and established the basic methods for space criticism and space salvation in ecological and aesthetic espects. Social disparity space under contemporary ontological point of view makes full use of transforn in space paradigm and aesthetic paradigm and has made fruitful exploration in search of an anti-capitalist civilization "new space", "new subject" and "new sensibility". Space disscussion is the basic way for human beings to get a self-knowledge and also the perceptual reality and basic dimension to measure the freedom of life. Setting up of the diversity living space based on ecological ontology is the contemporary landing for western space theory.
