| In Chinese society of the1920s, under the double exploitation and oppression ofimperialism and feudalism, life of the masses was suffering. The idea of revolution,under the guidance of the intellectuals, are from the undercurrent surging toward amajestic currents of thought. With the trend of the world from the elite politic to thepublic politic, the workers and peasants rising to a real political force, determined thedirection of historical progress, and thus became the object needing to wake up. CCP’spropaganda work commenced in this background.1921to1927, the Chinese Communist Party neither the regime nor militarypower, could do promotional work. Comparing with the other periods, then theposition of the publicity work in the overall work of the party was particularlyoutstanding, specially attended. It was the period of a real whole party propaganda.During this period, the CCP’s propaganda work was permeated with a distinct theme-to awaken the public. The widespread dissemination of Marxism promoted theradicalization of intellectuals, and made part of the knowledge youth advocates inthe revolutionary ranks. Soon to accept the theory of Marxism, radical intellectuals toworkers and peasants of the secondary transmission wake of their class consciousnessand political participation, awareness, enabling them to become the main force of therevolution. With the formation of the united front thinking, the KMT, the military,businessmen and members of the public have become the object of the ChineseCommunist propaganda, which mobilized-state of all anti-imperialist and anti-feudalrevolutionary forces, and promote the national revolutionary movement towardclimax. The KMT and the CPC in the publicity to mobilize people on the issue ofdifferences growing, until the question of leadership development of contention in theunited front, eventually leading to the rupture of the KMT-CPC cooperation, thefailure of the national revolution.The early Chinese Communist propaganda has been able to obtain good results,the first is because the Chinese Communist Party in the publicity work to capitalize onthe trend, conform to the historical trend, to meet the inherent demands of the masses;followed by publicity in content and form closer to reality, life, the masses; especiallyadvocates practice what they preach, to improve the reliability and credibility of the propaganda. The publicity work of this period also left deep lessones, such asoverestimation of the role of propaganda, committed out of the national situation andthe "left" and right error. These experiences and lessons learned are valuable spiritualwealth, not only the publicity work of the other period of our party in the history ofthe reference value, and provide useful inspiration for us to do publicity work. |
