Youth is not only a biological phenomenon, but also a social-culture one. It comes from history, and also affected it. As the consequences of modernization, Youth and the cause of China’s socialist modernization formed a structural relationship in the course of revolution, construction and reform; they influenced and restricted each other. As the modernization participate the youth’s construction, youth also participate in the historical process of construction of China’s modernization, thus formed a relationship of “Inter-structural”. After that, younger Marxist lead people into revolution to anti imperialist and feudal, they contributed to revolution of modernization and won the victory of it.Youth promoted economy and country-rebuilding, meanwhile, the revolution era influence their spirit. After the Party, revolutionary youth filled with passionate become the new force of socialist constructor, even the fresh blood that could bring new strength for socialism. However, the modernization of the youth is not always promote power, without guidance or error direction youth movement, the student and youth damaged to the modernization.China’s reform and opening-up policy opens up a new stage of modernization, and the development becomes the theme of time, Youth shift their focus from politic to life-world. In this great practice, Youth promoted economy and political democratization; they participated in the construction of Chinese dream. At the same time, they were neglected in the socialist market economy.Under globalization and market economy, the youth problem changed into an economic one, it also exposed that China need to push on political participation and culture identification. In this context, the political participation issue and national identity of youth show it importance. China’s modernization is a sustainable socialism project, together, the inherit of socialism and reflectivity of modernization becomes the responsibility that Youth in China must face. If socialism modernization with Chinese Characteristics wants to survive in future and move forward to the future, it must have the support of Youth.
