A Study Of China's Road In The Process Of Socialist Modernization

At the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China,standing at the height of the overall situation of the new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way,the Communist Party of China comprehensively considered the 14 th Five-Year Plan and the long-term goal of socialist modernization in 2035,and described the development blueprint of China entering a new stage of development.It wrote a new chapter of scientific socialism.The topic of socialist modernization has become the focus of current research.From the perspective of the process of socialist development,the development of the historical mission of socialism should have been based on the material basis of the highly modernized capitalism,but now it has to take the realization of modernization as the primary task.This is the new practical process of socialist modernization initiated by the October Revolution,which has become a major feature of the world socialist movement since the 20 th century.At the starting point of China's new journey towards a socialist modern country,we can't help looking back at the whole historical process of the century long exploration of socialist modernization to review,examine and prospect the past,present and future of China's Road.We can't help thinking about how to combine socialism with modernization in the current of world modernization led by western developed countries to complete the historical task of modernization.This research is based on the basic principles of scientific socialism,fully absorbs the existing research results of domestic and foreign academic circles,widely draws on the research methods of history,economics,political science and other social science disciplines,and puts the China's Road in the process of socialist modernization to explore the historical position,development process,law,experience and practical significance of China's successful exploration of the socialist modernization road.This study includes the following five chapters:The first chapter explains the basic theoretical issues of socialist modernization and defines the historical position of socialism in the process of modernization since the 20 th century.To understand and grasp the category and theory of modernization,and to grasp the objective historical process of modernization macroscopically from the perspective of world history,we need to go back to the Marxism,explain the basic theoretical issues of socialist modernization and define the historical position of realistic socialism in the process of world modernization since the 20 th century from their relevant expositions on modern society and Oriental society,That is to say,since the 20 th century,socialism has been in the process of modernization.It does not belong to the stage of capitalist society preset by Marx and Engels,nor does it belong to the stage of Communist society.Therefore,for socialism that has not yet achieved modernization,we need to complete the historical task of modernization in the capitalist stage in a socialist way,and then lay the theoretical premise and basis for the socialist modernization research perspective of this study.The second chapter is about October Revolution and tortuous exploration of the socialist modernization road in the Soviet East countries.The October Revolution of1917 in Russia is a milestone in the history of world modernization.Its victory is the beginning of the exploration of the socialist modernization road.Different from the capitalist modernization road,this modernization road will be launched and completed under the ruling conditions of the proletarian party.It is a modernization road with socialist nature and socialist goal orientation.Lenin's initial exploration of wartime communism and new economic policy.After Lenin's death,Stalin did not follow this road.Instead,he created the first road pattern of socialist modernization by carrying out heavy industrialization and agricultural collectivization,and made certain historical achievements.But he failed to solve the problem of the integration of socialism and modernization.Finally,the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe collapsed in the drastic changes.However,such endogenous socialist countries as China,Vietnam and Cuba,which always have their own characteristics,have withstood the historical test of the drastic changes in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe,and have survived the independent exploration of the road of socialist modernization.Marked by the successful opening up of the China's Road,socialism has completed a historic leap from one country to many countries,and the continuous expansion and improvement of the China's Road has realized a historic leap from the traditional to the modern.This is the historical orientation of China's exploration of the socialist modernization road.The third chapter is the practical course of China's exploration of socialist modernization road.As a new exploration of human society,the October Revolution Road is not only the traditional socialist modernization road of the Soviet Union,but also a practical subject of the October revolution road.The October Revolution has been a direct and great help and impetus to the China's revolution,and has inspired the China's revolution,construction and reform for a long time.It can be said that the China's Road is a broad sense of the October Revolution Road,which is in essence the development of China.Since the founding of China,China's Communists represented by Mao Zedong,Deng Xiaoping,Jiang Zemin,Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping have never stopped thinking about China's socialist modernization road,from "four modernizations" to "China's modernization",from "two civilizations" to "three civilizations",from the "four in one" to "five in one" overall layout.Especially since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.Taking this as a symbol,socialism has achieved a historic leap from tradition to modernity.In fact,the "Modernity" here is not the "Modernity" in the concept of time,but in essence the "Modernity" in the sense of modernization,which indicates that the Communist Party of China is increasingly rational in its grasp of the law of socialist modernization,It has reached the level of theoretical consciousness in the exploration of socialist modernization road,and is showing the world an increasingly mature grand vision of China's socialist modernization road.The fourth chapter is the basic experience of China's exploration of socialist modernization road.Compared with the traditional socialist modernization road of the Soviet Union,the China's road adheres to and develops the essence of the October Revolutionary Road,actively adapts to the changes of the world conditions,actively reforms,and explores the socialist modernization road in line with the national conditions,which has been proved to be successful in practice.The basic experience of China's road surpassing the traditional socialist modernization road of the Soviet Union is that: first of all,adhering to and developing the "original intention" of the October Revolutionary Road,opening up the road for the liberation and development of productive forces,playing the vanguard role of the Communist Party,always ensuring that the ruling party is in a strong leading core position,reflecting the essential difference between the socialist modernization road and the capitalist modernization road;Secondly,we should learn from the lessons of the Soviet Union's traditional socialist modernization road,correctly understand the basic national conditions and accurately judge the theme of the times from the basic principles of scientific socialism,and independently explore the development mode of promoting socialist modernization by following the general law of world modernization development.It can be seen that the successful practice of the China's Road has proved that the final collapse of the traditional socialist modernization road can not erase the great pioneering historical significance of the October Revolution in opening up a new socialist modernization road.On the contrary,the drastic changes in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe are only the result of departing from the "original intention" of the October Revolutionary Road.The fifth chapter is the world significance of China's Road.As a product of the exploration of China's socialist modernization road,the Chinese road has a clear Chinese boundary in denotation,but it has the generality of socialism in connotation.The China's Road does not add a new type to the traditional socialist modernization road ——the Chinese type,but comprehensively updates and surpasses the traditional socialist modernization road,and becomes the forerunner and typical representative of the socialist modernization road in the 21 st century.At the same time,China's Road is also the product of the later modern countries' exploration of the road of modernization,and the problems it answers and solves belong not only to China,but also to the countries in the world that are realizing modernization.Because of this,the theoretical value and practical significance of China's Road will inevitably go beyond China's national boundaries and extend to the whole world.Therefore,the practical significance of China's successful exploration of socialist modernization lies in the thorough breaking of the traditional concept that modernization is equal to westernization,and the exploration of a new path different from capitalist modernization;the realization of the reform and transcendence of the traditional socialist modernization road,the promotion of a new leap from the traditional to the modern;the breaking of socialist modernization is equal to the Soviet Union The concept is leading the mainstream of the socialist era in the contemporary world,proving the trend of the development of human civilization in the direction of diversification,and creating a new road for the diversified development of human civilization.
