Research On Methods Of Geo-relationenvironment Unit Division

Geo-relation is contact formed by geographical relation which is complex and closely. Georelation relationship is one of the most important relations in international relationships, which penetrates into the areas of national major policy such as political, economic, military, social security and so on. Any country, when making its own geopolitical strategy, attaches great importance to the study of geo-relation relationship. The geo-relation environment is the environment with the geo-relation and it’s an important part of the geopolitical research and geopolitical strategy formulation. The dissertation summarizes the research status at home and abroad on the areas of geo-relation environment zoning, analyzes the existing problems and studies the unit division methods on the basis above. The main research content includes the following five parts:1.Construction of the theory and method system of the geo-relation environment unit division.Considering the needs of research and judgment on China’s surrounding geo-relation strategy, servicing to enhance the initiative and foresight of the strategic decision-making, the dissertation refers to the theories and methods of the geographical zoning and principal function regionalization, summarizes and proposes the basic principles, basic theory and methods, constructs the theory and method system and lays the foundation for the qualitative, quantitative and comprehensive study on the geo-relation environment unit division.2.Proposing and construction of the comprehensive index system of the geo-relation environment unit division.The dissertation comprehensively analyzes various indicators of the political, economic, military, social culture, strategic resources and the ecological environment which are closely related to the division of geo-relation environment unit division, ravels out the intrinsic relationship and the correlative, interaction effect and the interactional laws and characteristics between them, proposes and constructs the geo-relation environment index system from the environmental background index, spatial correlation index and regional potential index three aspects. On this basis, according to the needs of the division of geo-relation environment units, the dissertation further refines various indicators, forms distinct, facilitates the measurement index system of multiple level of details.3.Improvement and optimization of classical geographical unit division method, which is to better meet the needs of the division of geo-relation environment units.The dissertation teases the classic geographical unit classification methods and carries on the optimization and improvement on them. And then, the geo-relation environment unit division research is doing based on the comprehensive index system and the improved methods. In the dissertation, three classical methods, such as natural breaks(jenks), weighted voronoi diagram and clustering analysis, are chosen to research on China’s surrounding geo-relation environment unit division.4.Carrying out the new method research on the geo-relation environment unit division.In the dissertation, the concept lattices and the urban morphology are introduced to carry out the division application research on the geo-relation environment units. The geo-relation environment spatial concept lattices are constructed base on the method of concept lattices to divide the geo-relation environment units. The geo-relation environment morphology scientific system is constructed based on the urban morphology to subdivide the surrounding geo-relation environment units. So far, there is no reference on the concept lattices and urban morphology applied in the geo-relation environment unit division at home and abroad.5.Contrast and analysis of the geo-relation environment unit division methods.Starting from the differences of the geo-relation environment unit division results, the dissertation carries on the contrast and analysis from two aspects, which is the geo-relation environment unit division method principle and the geo-relation environment unit division results. First of all, the geo-relation environment unit division methods are compared based on the classification and grading suitability, space subdivision suitability, breaking the existing administrative divisions and hierarchical principle four aspects. Secondly, the geo-relation environment unit division methods are compared based on the division results of every pair of the methods. Finally, based on the comparison and analysis of the geo-relation environment comprehensive strength of South Asia geo-relation environment units, the dissertation concludes the results of the geo-relation environment form and structure.
