Children represent the future in the developing society, and lay a foundation on human history. At the same time, children are the vulnerable groups in the human society. The children who have the poor body, lowly social status or the terrible living environment, especially, need more help and protection from the whole society. In the past, child was regarded as the property in families but the subject of rights. Because of the Enlightenment, the adult society realizes the rights and interests of the children. In the modern age, the construction and development of legal protection system of the children supply comprehensive protection of the rights of children. Nowadays, the protection of children’s rights in our country has achieved the enormous progress, a series of statutes on it have been enacted and revised successively. We can not deny the fact that there are some defects in the protection of the rights to the vulnerable children.This paper is divided into three parts:preface, body and conclusion. The body has five chapters.Chapter one is the summary of the protection of the vulnerable children’s rights. It states some basic concepts of the vulnerable children’s rights. Firstly, this chapter analyzes who are the vulnerable children and the nature and characteristics of the vulnerable children’s rights. The vulnerable children, in a sense, are the outcomes of the social transformation and reform. Secondly, this chapter analyzes the history of the development of the rights of the vulnerable children. Thirdly, it concludes that the vulnerable children, as the most vulnerable members, in the society need more support and help.Chapter two is the introduction of the principles of the rights of the vulnerable children. It demonstrates the value of the Convention on the Rights of the Child about the vulnerable children. It includes the principle of the child, the principle of equal protection, the principle of respect for child and the principle of the integrity. Chapter three is the analysis on the area of education. People always see the education as the mainly equal chance of the vulnerable children to change their life. This chapter carries on the discussion to the right to education to the migrated children of peasant works, left-behind children in rural areas, children in backward areas, disabled children and girls. It can not deny that they face so much educational unfairness in educational opportunity, process and result due to the education resources allocation.Chapter four is the analysis on family life. Nowadays, the family no longer is the safe and happy area for some children. The child in family is considered the appendage of their parents. It discusses on the negative influence of family violence and the divorce on the survival and the development of the children. It concludes that the parents ought to see their children as the subjects of rights. The traditional thought the weak law intervention are the reasons of tort.Chapter five is the analysis on juvenile justice policy. Compared with the judicial organs, the minor offender is vulnerable. What’s more, the country and the whole society should take the responsibility of juvenile delinquency and the aim of criminal correction is to help he minor offender to return to society successfully rather than the punishment. As a result, the execution socialization, such as the community correction, and the elimination of criminal record are the new trends of the system of criminal correction.
