At present, the reality to strengthen and improve ideological and political education for college students and the current severe employment situation faced by college students, especially poor college students, has brought about opportunities and challenges together with new requirements for the ideological and political education in the employment guidance. At present, from the angle of poor college students, the research concerning ideological and political education in employment guidance has not been given due attention. Although many scholars have done different researches in terms of poor college students’psychology concerning career choice and employment situation, there still exists some insufficiency in terms of theoretical basis, research system and practicality. This dissertation, on the basis of literature survey, investigation, action research and systematic methods, is intended to do a further research on the ideological and political education in the employment guidance for poor college students. This is intended to promote further development of the research, enrich ideological and political education practice and thus effectively clarify the ideological and political consciousness of the poor college students in career choice so as to encourage them to adopt correct employment concept, develop positive employment psychology, cultivate correct employment political ethics and a keen sense of laws concerning employment, and thus get themselves employed in the fierce competition.The present dissertation consists of the introductory part, five chapters and conclusion.The introductory part explains the reasons leading to the research and current research situation home and abroad. Besides, the major research methods applied and the research trains of thoughts of the dissertation are illustrated in this part.Chapter One defines the basic concepts of the employment guidance for poor college students’ ideological and political education and discusses its connotation, characteristics and significance. Firstly, through the understanding of the basic concepts, this chapter explicitly explains the definition of ideological and political education in the employment guidance for poor college students and clarifies that it is not a simple fusion of the ideological and political education and the employment guidance, but a brand-new form of ideological and political education based on the poor college students’ employment guidance. Secondly, through the study of its characteristics based on employment situation for poor college students, this chapter holds that it is pertinent, procedural, preventive, situational and emotional. Lastly, this chapter also analyzes the significance of the present study of the ideological and political education in the employment guidance to propel the ideological and political education to be scientific, to convert the poor college students’concept of career choice and thus to make them realize their social role smoothly.Chapter Two analyses the present situation concerning the ideological and political education for poor college students’employment guidance. This part explores the result of the ideological and political education for poor college students’employment guidance, holding that sufficient practice has been taken and effects are presented in the ideological and political education for poor college students’employment guidance, and due attention has been paid to study respectively. Meanwhile, some problems are further explained, pointing out that there still exist some problems such as deficient contents, ineffective approaches to work expansion, simple old methods, and insufficient theoretical research in the ideological and political education for poor college students’employment guidance. Besides, this part analyses the causes leading to these problems from the angle of insufficient understanding, incomplete education mechanism, negative effect of social factors and incomplete self-understanding of poor college students.Chapter Three is to study the theoretical guidance in employment guidance for poor college students’ ideological and political education. As an important part of Marxism Theory, the historical materialism of Marxism, the outlook of career choice, and the theory of communicative Praxis are the rationale of the ideological and political education in the employment guidance for poor college students. Meanwhile, the discussions about employment and poverty from Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao are valuable to the ideological and political education for poor college students’employment guidance.Chapter Four is to analyze the process of the ideological and political education for poor college students in the employment guidance. This chapter further discusses the meaning, the essential elements, the implementation and the contradictions, and proposes that the internal contradiction is the internalization and externalization of conflict in the ideological and political education for poor college students’ employment guidance. The contradiction promotes the transformation of contradiction in the process of the ideological and political education for poor college students’ employment guidance, and helps to realize the continuous operation of the ideological and political education of poor college students’employment guidance.Chapter Five explores the countermeasures of the problems concerning the ideological and political education for poor college students’employment guidance. On the basis of the research in the above chapters, this part is to implement the target, carry out the principles, enrich the contents, expand the approaches and methods in ideological and political education for poor college students’ employment guidance, intending to help poor college students take correct outlook of career choice, employment and talent, and thus get themselves employed effectively and smoothly.The Conclusion clarifies the necessity and significance of the research concerning the ideological and political education in the employment guidance for poor college students, and holds that the present study of this dissertation needs further research, pointing out the direction of research for this dissertation.
