At present, there are many issues of geography education in middle school, which makes geography difficult to contribute to development of geography. For example, the content of geography in middle school is copy with the content of geography in university and so on. Based on Geography, this research mainly discuss how to promote geography education to be itself and better play the educational value of geography. Consequently, there are two research questions. Firstly, what are the key educational values of geography curriculum? Secondly, how to better realize the educational value of geography in geography teaching.Through analyzing scholars’viewpoint and literature, comparing the geography standards and field survey in middle school, this research put forward nine key educational value of geography. It includes system thinking, sense of man-nature harmonization, view of space-time, sense of place, interdependence, spatial and technological capability, sense of environmental protection, appreciation ability and comprehensive practical ability. Meanwhile, According to the investigation, there are many question in geography education which make it hardly play its role in human development. For example, lack of recognition of the educational values of geography for teacher and students, short of effective educational way, overstate the effect of college entrance examination on education, the content of geography in middle school susceptible to university curriculum system.The author implementation strategy in term of research analysis, including remodeling teachers’ and students’ the recognition of the educational values of geography, rational use of examination, diversified mode of geography education; apply Smart Learning Environment, Increasing geography experiment and fieldwork in middle school, design material suitable for Digital Native, Design textbook content based on question, design resource based on open source and technological platform.In a word, maximizing the educational value of geography not only enrich the theoretical system of educational values of geography, but also apply several educational pathway to make educational values of geography "life-giving spring breeze and rain--salutary influence of education".Innovation of the research mainly have three points. Firstly, Fist use Q methodology in geography education, investigate geography teacher attitude to smart education based on e-bag. Secondly, refine and induce the key educational values of geography through comparing geography standard.Thirdly, this research put forward how to realize educational values of geography in middle school through Smart Learning Environment and fieldwork in term of time feature.
