The Research On Content System And Strategy Of Junior Middle School Geographic Emotions Attitudes And Values Education In The Geography Textbooks By China Map Publishing House

The overall goals of the compulsory education geography curriculum include mastering the basic knowledge of geography, obtaining the basic skills and methods of geography, understanding on environment and development problems, enhancing patriotism emotion and forming the global consciousness and the concept of sustainable development initially.They are divided into "knowledge and skills", "process and methods", "emotions,attitudes and values" three dimensions. In the new curriculum standards,the "emotions attitude and values" goals have been raised to a new level. They are very important to students’lifelong development. However, the current Chinese education evaluation mechanism is still given priority to exam achievement evaluation. So students and teachers still attaches great importance to the knowledge and skills,and ignore students’"emotions, attitudes and values" education. In addition, geography is considered to be a little subject.Because it is not very important in the final examination. Therefore, the completion effect of the geography "emotions attitudes and values" goal is not ideal.This paper summarized the predecessors’research results,analyzed the junior middle school geography textbooks published by China map publishing house. The paper realized the students’geography emotion attitude and values of cultivation and geography teachers education method about emotional attitude and values by carrying on the questionnaire survey to the students and talking to the geography teachers. Finally, in order to help junior high school geography emotion attitude and value education to improve the current situation, the paper put forward some strategies of geography emotion attitude and values teaching.
