Curriculum system is the guiding ideology of educational activities and the specification and support of training objectives since it stipulated the planning program of implementing training objectives. Select the middle-level connotation in curriculum system as research logic; take the improvement of undergraduates’ occupational ability in major of sports training as fundamental purpose; prepare questionnaire of occupational competence assessment and test the graduating students by constructing [Occupational Ability Model of Undergraduates in Major of Sports Training in Chinese Sports Colleges] so as to understand the status of occupational ability of undergraduates in major of sports training, and regard it as the reference of redesigning the curriculum system of undergraduate cultivation in major of sports training. Through the methods of expert interview, standard analysis of coach occupational ability evaluation, questionnaire, and statistical evaluation, this article carried out empirical research on the construction as well as evaluation of undergraduates’ occupational ability model in sports training specialty. The research results are as follows:1. The "extensive Department of Physical Education" school-running pattern at the beginning during major refining is one of the reasons why the employment of undergraduates in majors of sports training, physical education, and traditional ethnic sports are convergent.2. The construction of undergraduates’ occupational ability model in major of sports training in Chinese sports colleges includes 3 first-class indicators and 13 second-class indicators:professional ability (including execution ability, planning formulation and effect evaluation ability, ability of guiding and organizing special training, differentiated training and guidance ability, competition organization and management ability, and ability of training monitoring as well as sports injury prevention); method capacity (including ability of sports science research, professional development and digitalization ability, critical reflection ability, and ability of information integration assessment); social competence (including ability of humanistic care and communication cooperation, sports team management and education consulting ability, professional ethics). The research generalized the occupational abilities that undergraduates shall possess in theory.3. According to the undergraduates’ occupational model, the [Occupational Ability Questionnaire of Undergraduates in Major of Sports Training in Chinese Sports Colleges] containing 13 component tables and 65 subjects are prepared based on surveying standard program.4. The 7 occupational abilities of undergraduates such as execution ability, ability of guiding and organizing special training, differentiated training and guidance ability, ability of information integration assessment, ability of humanistic care and communication cooperation, sports team management and education consulting ability, and professional ethics are recognized while the self-assessment results do not have obvious difference with other evaluations made by lecture teachers and employers. Meanwhile, the 6 occupational abilities including planning formulation and effect evaluation ability, competition organization and management ability, ability of training monitoring as well as sports injury prevention, ability of sports science research, professional development and digitalization ability, and critical reflection ability remain to be enhanced.5. The normal form of revision standard of cultivation plan and implementation flow remains to be perfected since the deviation between revised guiding ideology and realistic result is large. The revision of cultivation scheme lack an overall prediction of industrial development demands, employer’s circulate feedback and job task analysis of the employment position in professional counterpart.6. The broad target positioning is one of the important reasons causing that undergraduates’ employment direction is not in counterpart with their majors, which means that the blur cultivation target positioning is not beneficial for lecture teachers to make targeted curriculum design of the undergraduates major in sports training.7. The extensive classification and grading standard of coach certificate system impeded students’cognition of future occupational development.8. the significant factors affecting students’ training quality:students cannot plan extra-curricular life reasonably, which generated waste of time; the number of elective courses is increased while without guidance of students’occupational planning, which made students pay more attention to whether the course is easy for passing rather than out of their interests or improvement of comprehensive quality; later starting time of professional practice curriculum with single content as well as form, which led to students’blue cognition of future occupational development; students’ fragmented knowledge is not good for establishing complete knowledge system; the vague cultivation specification and graduation requirements are not beneficial to improving students’ cultivation quality.9.The phenomena of slow upgrading speed of cultivation scheme and curriculum contents, and disjunction between teaching method and actual social position demands.
