Research On Argumentation-Based Contract Negotiation Support System

Negotiation is very common in business field, and many business affairs go along with negotiation. When e-commerce becomes more and more complex, one-to-one negotiation is not accordant with the current business demands, and one-to-many negotiation comes into being. With the development of social economy, collaboration of economic organizations needs to confirm through contract. Sometimes, the process of negotiation is the process of making contract. Therefore, it is necessary to research on one-to-many contract negotiation.In one-to-many negotiation, one negotiator needs to negotiate with many negotiation sides, and the degree of negotiation complication increases evidently. One-to-many contract negotiation includes pre-negotiation, negotiation and after negotiation. Aiming at these phases, contraction negotiation support system needs to deal with complex negotiation processes electronically. The function of pre-negotiation is to convene appropriate negotiation many sides for negotiation one side. In the process of convening, negotiation one side has to deal with a great deal of information in the internet. It is very difficult for negotiation one side. On the other hand, when the negotiation many sides are not appropriate to negotiation one side, it will lead to the negotiation failure. Therefore, the convening of pre-negotiation is very important and complex, and makes influence in following negotiation research directly.Negotiation is the core of whole contraction negotiation support system, and is the negotiating process of negotiation one side and negotiation many sides. Existing research of negotiation support system(NSS) doesn’t allow negotiator to express its own viewpoints, or express the points by a non-configuration language, which is difficult to be used to make solutions by NSS. Argumentation-based negotiation(ABN), as the research emphases of automated negotiation(AN), allows agent communicate the information of argumentation and negotiation issues by the means of configuration communication method. It provides a new method to research NSS. Combining NSS and agent argumentation meets the demands of configuration information for NSS, and supports negotiation decision convincingly. After negotiation is to make contract, and establish the issues of faith breach. Making contract is the sign of ending negotiation. And, in real business negotiation, the reason of the contract don’t carry into execution successfully is mostly for not establishing issues of faith breach efficiently. Establishing faith breach issues efficiently provides on guarantees greatly. Therefore, aiming at each phases of one-to-many contract negotiation, the paper brings forward the research of contract negotiation support system and argumentation-based decision making. The main research of the paper is as follows.Firstly, aiming at the decision making demands of one-to-many contract NSS in e-commerce, the paper has proposed a model of argumentation-based decision making. The model provides negotiation supports for negotiation and after negotiation, and researches from the points of process support and solution support. In the aspect of process support, according to the demands of information exchange, for the parts of negotiation and after negotiation, the paper has proposed a negotiation process of four phases. In the aspect of solution support, according to the properties of argumentation, for the part of negotiation, the paper has proposed a solution support model of argumentation-based negotiation.Secondly, the paper has proposed the theory model of argumentation agent. On the basis of definition of ordinary agent and demands of argumentation, the paper has brought forward the definition and properties of argumentation, analyzed and summarized the characteristics of argumentation environment. On the ground of argumentation agent conception model, the conception model of ABN has been researched. Argumentation agent is the foundation of contract negotiation. Making the best use of the research content of argumentation agent is able to provide the full support for the theory construction and technique realization of the back research contentThirdly, the paper has researched the argumentation-oriented negotiation communication language. In nature, ABN is communication-based speech exchange of multi-agents. The research of the ABN communication is a powerful assurance for the realization of contract NSS. On the basis of speech act theory, the paper has proposed the whole argumentation-oriented negotiation communication language, defined negotiation locutions, and put forward the locutions of precondition, meaning and response. It provides the communication foundation of realization for contract NSS.Finally, the paper has proposed a pre-negotiation support model, and has designed a system of contract NSS. For that the pre-negotiation make influence with the validity of the rest research contents of the paper, on the ground of demands of one-to-many pre-negotiation, the paper has proposed a similarity-based negotiation convening model. And in order to present the whole research contents, the paper has designed a model system of contract NSS, which supports the convening of pre-negotiation, argumentation-based decision making of negotiation, and making contract of after negotiation.Combining contract negotiation support with argumentation-based decision making, the paper has constructed a research of one-to-many contract negotiation support and argumentation-based decision making. The paper is used to solved the problem that NSS is difficult to be used in real business trading, and is hoped to advance application of contract NSS in real bussiness.
