The Research On The Regional Economic Development Strategy Of Shandong Based On Dynamic Isostatic Theory

First, this paper talks about the theoretical basis on regional economicdevelopment strategy and elaborates the future development direction of regionaleconomic theories, that is to say, the new ideas of regional economic developmentstrategy in the knowledge economy times. Second, this paper introduces theevolvement of regional economic development strategy, and then interprets the totaldevelopment situation of regional economic development of Shandong for30years, atlast makes the SWOT analysis for the regional economic development. Third，selecting some indexes from high-end manufacturing and modern services and usingthe shift-share method, this paper carries on a detailed contrastive study on theindustrial development conditions and competitiveness among Shandong,Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin. This analysis willforeshadow for the relevant regional economic Innovation development strategy ofShandong later. Fourth, using the methods of the Gini coefficient, relative coefficientof variation and Theil index and so on, then selecting the statistical data of per capitaGDP for30years from the17cities and counties of Shandong, this paper discussesdeeply about the evolvement of the regional economic difference of Shandong for30years and draws the conclusion, that is to say, there are the uneven economicdevelopment among the east, the mid, the west of Shandong and still larger gap. Thisanalysis will foreshadow for the relevant regional economic coordinated developmentstrategy of Shandong later. Fifth, from the angel of internal function of urbanagglomeration, this paper makes the summary for the characteristics of several urbanagglomerations by contrasting the urban agglomerations of Pearl River Delta, YangtzeRiver delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Shandong peninsula. This analysis willforeshadow for the structure of the regional economic development strategy with theurban agglomerations as the space urban agglomerations. Sixth, according to thedetailed analysis and argument in the front, this paper builds four strategies, that is tosay, the innovative development strategy for Shandong peninsula, the science-acrossdevelopment strategy for Southern Shandong Economic Zone, the ecologicalefficiency development strategy of the Yellow River Delta and the characteristicdevelopment of the Blue Economic Zone of Shandong Peninsula, then puts forwardssome sub-strategies, and forms a more detailed strategic system. At last, this papermakes the conclusion and prospection. There are several innovations below. First, the regional economic developmentstrategy has some Time-phased. At present, Shandong is in the new stage with middleand late period of industrialization, acceleration period of urbanization, incorporatingperiod of informationization, improvement period of marketization and developmentperiod of internationalization. Shandong should transform regional economicdevelopment strategy from previous periods. So making the regional economicdevelopment strategy in the new period for Shandong is a certain perspectiveness andmeaning of guidance. From this aspect, the angle of research has a certain innovation.Second, this paper is based on the statistical data of30years for Shandong, uses morepopular econometrics model and makes vertical and horizontal comparation from thetime span. It will be a conclusion of regional economic development for the30yearsof reform and opening-up of Shandong and can provide some references forgovernment, entrepreneur and scholar. The research value and analysis course have acertain innovation. Third, this paper builds a relative whole strategy system with fourstrategies and several sub-strategies and puts forwards news thoughts and suggestionsdifferent from other scholars. It not only accords with the present economicdevelopment stages, but also with provincial conditions of Shandong, so the results ofresearch have a certain innovation.
