| There are two things that human has been assiduous at, a strong body and a good living space. The good living space is fundamentally dependent on the support of human ethical values such as freedom, equality, fairness, justice, peace etc. Ontological significance of competitive sport is that it forges human strong physique and cultivates the required ethical values.This article across the economic, aesthetic value of competitive sport, takes virtue ethics as foundation, value ration as perspective and competition justice as focus. The author argues that the competition is the basic biological state, but also the necessary mechanism of biological development. Sport competition behongs to rationally social competition, embracing important ethical values:competitive sports are closely related to bravery, wisdom, justice, and other virtues; competitive sport’s fair competition is the mode of economic competition, political competition and social competition; open and fair competition nurtures the democratic and progressive social literacy. Sportsperson is not just a simple title on the classification of occupations. Its identity logo is the spirit of sport, which is the unique ethical quality developed by competitive sport. Athletic sports are sportsperson’s moral game, in which fair competition is not only the external requirement, but also the intrinsic property. Ethical values such as fairness and justice have a symbiotic relationship with competitive sport. The alienation causes the sport intrinsic value squeezed by the external value and the virtue sheltered. To pursue athletics justice is to explore its moral nature, to guide competitive sport to return to its original situation, rather than impose the code of ethics to constraint it; to achieve athletic justice is to establish the "right" mechanism in accordance with its own laws in order to maintain competitive sports.The competition justice is achieved and upheld by rule control, system security and legal regulation. |
