The early western Han dynasty society is in the period of upheaval and great change. It becomes an important issue for the early Han dynasty thinkers that the emerging Han Empire is in urgent need of consolidation to build united, stable and harmonious social order. Jia Yi was a famous thinker, statesman and a distinguished political commentator in the early Han Dynasty, and his political ideology played a significant role in the formation of the early Han Dynasty statecraft. Thinking about Jia Yi’s thought, predecessors had conducted in-depth and thorough study, and formed the unique insights about Jia Yi’s Confucian thought, people-oriented thought, philosophy, and political thought. From the perspective of political philosophy, this thesis continues to study the thought of Jia Yi in order to have a new understanding of the political changes of the early Western Han Dynasty, and attempts to explore Jia Yi’s influence on Chinese political construction.With regard to the study of Jia Yi’s political philosophy, this thesis mainly includes four parts, consisted of six chapters:The introduction part is mainly to review and summarize the former research about Jia Yi, and points out the research problems which need to continue to study; at the same time, it makes a brief introduction about the research significance, research ideas, and research difficulty and so on. From chapter one to chapter three, it mainly discusses the formation of Jia Yi’s political philosophy. In the early western Han dynasty, the economy gradually recovered from the depressed situation, and the drawbacks of the system had been expelled, beginning to set up the new political system of Han dynasty, and Huang Lao’s "inaction thought" gradually transitioned to a promising direction. Jia Yi is in such a period of great change, he absorbed and integrated the ideas of their predecessors, under the influence of Confucianism, Taoism, Legalism and other various ideas, and inspired by the influence of Xun Zi, formed their own "Confucianism Huang-Lao "unique idea. Each school under the influence of Jia Yi slowly established the theoretical basis of his philosophy, value virtual epistemology of selfless, to the material properties can be divided into three classes, and requires the early Han rulers play to subjective initiative, with the right policies to obtain long-term stability. All these constitute the theoretical basis of the Jia Yi political philosophy.Chapter four mainly discusses the content of Jia Yi’s political philosophy. As to the lessons of history of the Qin Dynasty II died, the author contacts the moral bankruptcy of the beginning of the Chinese society, customs and corrupt reality of inaction by the ruling class. Jia Yi out cried loudly the line kings of the road, from the angle of the emperors of the implementation of benevolent rule by virtue, and told political how to achieve the ideal state; relive early Han Dynasty and the Huns invaded bring great harm to the Western Han Dynasty, in the face of these hazards, Jia Yi put forward their own solutions, that is, the world was unified, the specific implementation:cede territory to customize, three tables five bait, set by the system. These methods for the rulers to maintain social stability have played a very important role. For the power of the people, Jia Yi, also did in-depth thinking, and summed up the pre-Qin’s people-oriented thought, and put forward his own people-oriented thoughts, which have a profound influence on China’s feudal society; In the exploration of statecraft, about the power of public, Jia Yi regarded "the ritual" as the fundamental, at the same time, the law also had a supporting auxiliary role, thus to establish a new Confucianism rites and law society.In chapter five and six, it mainly discusses the empire of Jia Yi’s political philosophy and contemporary practice value. Jia Yi’s political philosophy summed up the lesson of Qin dynasty ii’s death, aiming at various contradictions in the society at that time, the serious reflection on the early Han rulers and put forward the appropriate statecraft. He summed up the early Han political guiding ideology transitioning from nothing to something, developed the Confucian thought of rule by virtue, propelled the development of Han primitive idea, and put forward the unification of politics, which played a positive role and contributed to consolidating the social stability and unity at the beginning of the Han to achieve social stability.Taking history as a mirror, you can know the rise and fall on earth. Jia Yi constantly summed up governance experience and lessons of the country, outlined the wisdom of governing the country and rich management community, and formed his own political philosophy. Through the proposed unified thought, Confucianism and the idea of benevolent governance rule of the people for rather people-oriented thoughts, which not only embodies the essence of the early Han political thought, but also had a profound influence on the later stage of whole feudal society. About the reflections on history, on the recommendations of the practical problems for the construction of the political ideal in the future, Jia Yi has reached a considerable height.
