The Chu slips of Qin-Han dynasties, which means the slips were unearthed in Chu and belong to Qin and Han dynasties, are classified both from the geographical level and chronological level. More than40batches and up to64thousands Qin-Han slips have been unearthed since the Shuihudi slips were unearthed in1975. Because these slips have distinctive features such as quantity, content-rich, authentic materials, and clear belonging decades, they greatly enriched the literature corpus of Qin and Han dynasties, and have a high research value. Up to now, the language study of the Qin and Han slips has achieved fruitful results, especially in the study of single batch slips. However, the study focus on Chu slips of Qin-Han dynasties is still a blank area, it is really meaningful to do some research and study in this area.This paper focus on Chu slips of Qin-Han dynasties, and selected seven highly representative batches, including Shuihudi slips, Liye slips, Guanju slips, Zhangjiashan slips, Suizhoukongjiapo slips, and Dongpailou slips, mainly using the traditional exegesis and modern lexicology research methods. This paper is composed of two parts.In the first part, we discussed four topics of Chu slips of Qin-Han dynasties. Firstly, research method. The comparison method and confirmation method according to habitat are the two most frequently used methods. Secondly, language features. The Chu slips of Qin-Han dynasties are basically out of the Chu dialect features, not only in the configuration of the word, the writing of the word, but also in the use of the terms, and they are almost the same with the literature of the same period. We concluded the main features based on the use of the slips. Thirdly, arrangement principle. Because the interpretation of the text and notes in the original explanation still have some problems, in this part we summarized and analyzed the basic principles of slips arrangement through examples. Finally, synonyms of legal instruments. The legal instruments are the most important part of the Chu slips of Qin-Han dynasties, we can generally get a glimpse at the basic features of Chu slips of Qin-Han dynasties through the research of synonyms.In the second part, a more comprehensive interpretation of the text and comments of "Weilizhidao" of Shuihudi bamboo slips and "Weilizhiguanjiqinshou" of Yuelushuyuancangqinjian bamboo slips is proposed, and the variant are analyzed in detail. Other Linguistic phenomenon in the slips such homophones phenomenon and the use of rhythm are still pending for further study.
