In the year 1986,1993and 2002,there are three kinds of bamboo and wooden slips of Qin dynasty found one after another,which were Fangmatan Qinjian,Zhoujiatai Qinjian and Liye Qinjian.A study of vocabulary based on these documents is needed,for we can know a lot about the whole phenomenon of ancient language from it.There are three chapters in this thesis.In the first chapter the writer introduces some information about existing research results.Also the object,the significance and the method for research are given here.The second chapter is the body of this thesis.Fist,a data base was made on the basic of the materials which were given by the workers who were in charge of bamboo and wooden slips.Second,the writer distributes all the words into the right meanings according to dictionaries and ancient books.A lot of words still can't be dealt with until this thesis is finished,because there are many difficulties such as the capability of the writer and the lack of time.The last chapter is an article about the comparison between four kinds of Lipian from Rishu.Besides the bamboo and wooden slips of Qin dynasty,there is another kind of bamboo and wooden slips in the art museum of the Chinese university of Hong Kong which belongs to Han dynasty.They happened to have the same official documents.The writer tries to analyze the similarities and differences of them.Then there are still some words need deeper researches,including the words with single example and some unknown words.In order to consult the experts in Chinese ancient character,they are put into the appendix.
