This work aims to have a systematized analysis on the terms related to the organization units and their alteration process using the read headlined documents and materials that were carried out by the government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region between1950and1999. The author tries to contextualize the terms with the social factors of that time and on the basis of the characteristics of the terms. The50years period was divided into four stages. On the basis of the general determination of the terms of organization units of50years, the formation principles of the terminology and the historical methodology of the formation of the Mongolian terminology were analyzed. The author also brings up her ideas about the issues related to determination and regulation of the terms, their reasons, approaches to solve the issues of the50years of the formation of the terms about the official organization units.The research work consists of an introduction part, three main chapters, a concluding part, appendix and a bibliography. In the introduction, the author presents the theoretical and practical significance of the work, previous studies, goal, and objectives of the work, primary source of data and the theoretical background of the research work. In the first chapter the author tries to explore the use of the terms related to the organization units, and determine the general structure of the term formation. In order to explore the characteristics of the use of the terms the author compares the evaluation of the terminology in the different stages. The second chapter describes the formation principles of the terms of the organization units. The author chooses some terms and made an analysis on them by explaining the formation process, and evaluating the formation principles. The third chapter explains the past and current issues about the use and formation of the terminology in the organization units and introduces some ideas about solving the issues. In the concluding part the author sums up the research work and presents her ideas about creating Mongolian terminology for the further development of the terminology.
