An Analysis Of The Speech Act Of Official Documents

This paper takes the methods of speech act theory and context analysis of pragmatics, on the basis of specific context act speech researches at home and abroad, by analyzing the representative examples of official documents, we focus on the speech act formation, the model of speech act combination and the speech act features of official documents.As some kind of written context, official documents are the combination of speech act, and it is made up of five parts, concluding titles, address, auxiliary, act words and signature. Title and signature are special parts of the act speech formation. According to the discussion about the model of the speech act combination, we find speech act of official documents is a rank system from the micro-point. The status of every kind of speech act inside the act words is not equal. One or two of them may be dominating; the other performative speech acts are just auxiliary. The feature of the speech act in official documents is that most of official documents express the directive act directly or , and the relative power and status of documents announcer and receiver make few restraints on the way speech act perfumes.This paper analyzes official documents from the inside standard of speech act, which deepens the pragmatics on one hand, and play an important part in guiding official documents writing.
