Research On The Digitization Of Uighur Mongolian Literature

Our ancestors left us the Uigur-Mongolian documents with rich historical culture and linguistic philology research value.These documents,due to a variety of natural and social reasons,not many come down.There are mainly forms such as stone tablets,letters,signage,Buddhist documents,and list inscriptions.At present,in a society with highly developed information technology,we not only rely on human brain memory to accumulate knowledge,paper and pen to record the traditional methods of materials,we should also carry out the research on the digital arrangement of Uigur-Mongolian documents in response to the requirements of the development of times.Compared with the traditional way of working,the computer has incomparable advantages in the aspects of document storage,sorting,retrieval and utilization.It can liberate us from a lot of manual labor and greatly improve work efficiency.Since the 1970 s and 1980 s,scholars at home and abroad have sorted out and studied the precious documents of their respective countries and nations with digital methods,and made certain achievements.Especially in recent years,the significance and importance of document digitization have become increasingly prominent.In this paper,the Uigur-Mongolian documents is sorted out and deeply studied by digital means.The research content of this paper includes the following aspects:In the introduction,the paper reviews the course and main achievements of digital arrangement of Uigur-Mongolian documents since modern times.As is known to all,some achievements have been made in the collection of Uigur-Mongolian documents.A number of Uigur-Mongolian documents materials have been collated and published,providing the most basic materials for the digital research of Uigur-Mongolian documents.However,compared with the traditional research methods,the digitization Uigur-Mongolian documents is still in its infancy.The chapter one discusses the name " Uigur-Mongolian documents ",the quantity statistics,the collection work progress,and introduces the Uighur Mongolian Latin transliteration scheme basis and the use purpose.The chapter two introduces the Uighur Mongolian coding system in detail.Firstly,the paper introduces the process of developing the national standard of Uighur Mongolian coding in chronological order.From 2007,after more than ten years of discussion and research by experts and scholars,the historical process of the release of the national standard "Information technology-Uighur Mongolian characters,presentation characters and use rules of controlling characters "(GB/T 36331-2018)on January 1,2019 was described.Secondly,"nominal character","presentation character","mandatory ligature","non-mandatory ligature ","digital punctuation symbol" and "control character","nominal character to presentation character conversion rules" and so on.The chapter three from the perspective of protection and utilization of Uigur-Mongolian documents,analyzes the design and construction process of full-text database,such as metadata,lexical database,literature annotation database and word database index.The chapter four try to build Uigur-Mongolian documents resources,collect relevant comprehensive information,such as version,author information and related papers(monographs,journal papers,conference papers,news materials,network materials,etc.),and present them to users by building characteristic database.The topic selection of the knowledge base has not only certain research value but also high data value.The purpose is to provide as much information and knowledge as possible related to the Uigur-Mongolian documents.Focusing on the digital practice of Uigur-Mongolian documents,this paper discusses the design and construction process of Uigur-Mongolian documents information network,and puts forward that Uigur-Mongolian documents digitization must take the network road,take the Internet as the carrier and communication channel,and accelerate the digital development.
